They are gone up^H5927 to Bayith,^H1006 and to Dibon,^H1769 to the high places,^H1116 to weep:^H1065 Moab^H4124 waileth^H3213 over Nebo,^H5015 and over Medeba;^H4311 on all their heads^H7218 is baldness,^H7144 every beard^H2206 is cut off.^H1438

And in that day^H3117 did the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H3069 of hosts,^H6635 call^H7121 to weeping,^H1065 and to mourning,^H4553 and to baldness,^H7144 and to girding^H2296 with sackcloth:^H8242

For the mountains^H2022 will I take up^H5375 a weeping^H1065 and wailing,^H5092 and for the pastures^H4999 of the wilderness^H4057 a lamentation,^H7015 because they are burned up,^H3341 so that none^H376 passeth^H5674 through; neither can men hear^H8085 the voice^H6963 of the cattle;^H4735 both the birds^H5775 of the heavens^H8064 and the beasts^H929 are fled,^H5074 they are gone.^H1980

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 Consider^H995 ye, and call^H7121 for the mourning women,^H6969 that they may come;^H935 and send^H7971 for the skilful^H2450 women, that they may come:^H935

Lament^H421 like a virgin^H1330 girded^H2296 with sackcloth^H8242 for the husband^H1167 of her youth.^H5271

Sanctify^H6942 a fast,^H6685 call^H7121 a solemn assembly,^H6116 gather^H622 the old men^H2205 [and] all the inhabitants^H3427 of the land^H776 unto the house^H1004 of Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 and cry^H2199 unto Jehovah.^H3068

Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity^H1540 beyond^H1973 Damascus,^H1834 saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 whose name^H8034 is the God^H430 of hosts.^H6635

For this will I lament^H5594 and wail;^H5594 I will go^H3212 stripped^H7758 and naked;^H6174 I will make^H6213 a wailing^H4553 like the jackals,^H8577 and a lamentation^H60 like the ostriches.^H1323

standing^G2476 afar^G3113 off^G575 for^G1223 the fear^G5401 of her^G846 torment,^G929 saying,^G3004 Woe,^G3759 woe,^G3759 the^G3588 great^G3173 city,^G4172 Babylon,^G897 the strong^G2478 city!^G4172 for^G3754 in^G1722 one^G1520 hour^G5610 is thy^G4675 judgment^G2920 come.^G2064

And^G2532 they cast^G906 dust^G5522 on^G1909 their^G846 heads,^G2776 and^G2532 cried,^G2896 weeping^G2799 and^G2532 mourning,^G3996 saying,^G3004 Woe,^G3759 woe,^G3759 the^G3739 great^G3173 city,^G4172 wherein^G1722 all^G3956 that^G3739 had^G2192 their ships^G4143 in^G1722 the sea^G2281 were made rich by reason of^G1537 her^G846 costliness!^G5094 for^G3754 in one^G1520 hour^G5610 is she made desolate.^G2049
