then thy heart^H3824 be lifted up,^H7311 and thou forget^H7911 Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 who brought thee forth^H3318 out of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 out of the house^H1004 of bondage;^H5650

Thou sayest,^H559 Lo, thou hast smitten^H5221 Edom;^H123 and thy heart^H3820 lifteth thee up^H5375 to boast:^H3513 abide^H3427 now at home;^H1004 why shouldest thou meddle^H1624 to [thy] hurt,^H7451 that thou shouldest fall,^H5307 even thou, and Judah^H3063 with thee?

But Hezekiah^H3169 rendered not again^H7725 according to the benefit^H1576 done unto him; for his heart^H3820 was lifted up:^H1361 therefore there was wrath^H7110 upon him, and upon Judah^H3063 and Jerusalem.^H3389

Howbeit he meaneth^H1819 not so, neither doth his heart^H3824 think^H2803 so; but it is in his heart^H3824 to destroy,^H8045 and to cut off^H3772 nations^H1471 not a few.^H4592

by your great^H7230 wisdom^H2451 [and] by your traffic^H7404 have you increased^H7235 your riches,^H2428 and your heart^H3824 is lifted up^H1361 because of your riches;—^H2428

and because^H4481 of the greatness^H7238 that he gave^H3052 him, all^H3606 the peoples,^H5972 nations,^H524 and languages^H3961 trembled^H1934 and feared^H1763 before^H4481 him:^H6925 whom he would^H1934 he slew,^H1934 and whom he would^H1934 he kept alive;^H1934 and whom he would^H1934 he raised up,^H1934 and whom he would^H1934 he put down.^H1934

And through his policy^H7922 he shall cause craft^H4820 to prosper^H6743 in his hand;^H3027 and he shall magnify^H1431 himself in his heart,^H3824 and in [their] security^H7962 shall he destroy^H7843 many:^H7227 he shall also stand up^H5975 against the prince^H8269 of princes;^H8269 but he shall be broken^H7665 without^H657 hand.^H3027

And^G1161 the people^G1218 shouted,^G2019 [saying], The voice^G5456 of a god,^G2316 and^G2532 not^G3756 of a man.^G444

Likewise,^G3668 ye^G240 younger,^G3501 be subject^G5293 unto the elder.^G4245 Yea,^G1161 all^G3956 of you gird yourselves with^G1463 humility,^G5012 to serve one another:^G5293 for^G3754 God^G2316 resisteth^G498 the proud,^G5244 but^G1161 giveth^G1325 grace^G5485 to the humble.^G5011
