As the nations^H1471 that Jehovah^H3068 maketh to perish^H6 before you,^H6440 so shall ye perish;^H6 because^H6118 ye would not hearken^H8085 unto the voice^H6963 of Jehovah^H3068 your God.^H430

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken^H8085 unto the voice^H6963 of Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 to observe^H8104 to do^H6213 all his commandments^H4687 and his statutes^H2708 which I command^H6680 thee this day,^H3117 that all these curses^H7045 shall come^H935 upon thee, and overtake^H5381 thee.

But if thy heart^H3824 turn away,^H6437 and thou wilt not hear,^H8085 but shalt be drawn away,^H5080 and worship^H7812 other^H312 gods,^H430 and serve^H5647 them;

And Jehovah^H3068 saw^H7200 [it], and abhorred^H5006 [them], Because of the provocation^H3708 of his sons^H1121 and his daughters.^H1323

because they obeyed^H8085 not the voice^H6963 of Jehovah^H3068 their God,^H430 but transgressed^H5674 his covenant,^H1285 even all that Moses^H4872 the servant^H5650 of Jehovah^H3068 commanded,^H6680 and would not hear^H8085 it, nor do^H6213 it.

Ah^H1945 sinful^H2398 nation,^H1471 a people^H5971 laden^H3515 with iniquity,^H5771 a seed^H2233 of evil-doers,^H7489 children^H1121 that deal corruptly!^H7843 they have forsaken^H5800 Jehovah,^H3068 they have despised^H5006 the Holy One^H6918 of Israel,^H3478 they are estranged^H2114 [and gone] backward.^H268

Hear,^H8085 O earth:^H776 behold, I will bring^H935 evil^H7451 upon this people,^H5971 even the fruit^H6529 of their thoughts,^H4284 because they have not hearkened^H7181 unto my words;^H1697 and as for my law,^H8451 they have rejected^H3988 it.

I hearkened^H7181 and heard,^H8085 but they spake not aright:^H1696 no man^H376 repenteth^H5162 him of^H5921 his wickedness,^H7451 saying,^H559 What have I done?^H6213 every one turneth^H7725 to his course,^H4794 as a horse^H5483 that rusheth^H7857 headlong in the battle.^H4421

Then shalt thou say^H559 unto them, Because your fathers^H1 have forsaken^H5800 me, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and have walked^H3212 after^H310 other^H312 gods,^H430 and have served^H5647 them, and have worshipped^H7812 them, and have forsaken^H5800 me, and have not kept^H8104 my law;^H8451

so that Jehovah^H3068 could^H3201 not longer bear,^H5375 because^H6440 of the evil^H7455 of your doings,^H4611 and because^H6440 of the abominations^H8441 which ye have committed;^H6213 therefore is your land^H776 become a desolation,^H2723 and an astonishment,^H8047 and a curse,^H7045 without inhabitant,^H3427 as it is this day.^H3117

Her priests^H3548 have done violence^H2554 to my law,^H8451 and have profaned^H2490 my holy things:^H6944 they have made no distinction^H914 between the holy^H6944 and the common,^H2455 neither have they caused men to discern^H3045 between the unclean^H2931 and the clean,^H2889 and have hid^H5956 their eyes^H5869 from my sabbaths,^H7676 and I am profaned^H2490 among^H8432 them.
