ASVs · الأصحاح 12
R ememberH2142 also thy CreatorH1254 in the daysH3117 of thy youth,H979 before the evilH7451 daysH3117 come,H935 and the yearsH8141 draw nigh,H5060 when thou shalt say,H559 I have no pleasureH2656 in them;
before the sun,H8121 and the light,H216 and the moon,H3394 and the stars,H3556 are darkened,H2821 and the cloudsH5645 returnH7725 afterH310 the rain;H1653
in the dayH3117 when the keepersH8104 of the houseH1004 shall tremble,H2111 and the strongH2428 menH582 shall bowH5791 themselves, and the grindersH2912 ceaseH988 because they are few,H4591 and those that look outH7200 of the windowsH699 shall be darkened,H2821
and the doorsH1817 shall be shutH5462 in the street;H7784 when the soundH6963 of the grindingH2913 is low,H8217 and one shall rise upH6965 at the voiceH6963 of a bird,H6833 and all the daughtersH1323 of musicH7892 shall be brought low;H7817
yea, they shall be afraidH3372 of [that which is] high,H1364 and terrorsH2849 [shall be] in the way;H1870 and the almond-treeH8247 shall blossom,H5006 and the grasshopperH2284 shall be a burden,H5445 and desireH35 shall fail;H6565 because manH120 goethH1980 to his everlastingH5769 home,H1004 and the mournersH5594 go aboutH5437 the streets:H7784
beforeH3808 the silverH3701 cordH2256 is loosed,H7576 or the goldenH2091 bowlH1543 is broken,H7533 or the pitcherH3537 is brokenH7533 at the fountain,H4002 or the wheelH1534 brokenH7665 at the cistern,H953
and the dustH6083 returnethH7725 to the earthH776 as it was, and the spiritH7307 returnethH7725 unto GodH430 who gaveH5414 it.
VanityH1892 of vanities,H1892 saithH559 the Preacher;H6953 all is vanity.H1892
And further,H3148 because the PreacherH6953 was wise,H2450 he still taughtH3925 the peopleH5971 knowledge;H1847 yea, he pondered,H239 and sought out,H2713 [and] set in orderH8626 manyH7235 proverbs.H4912
The PreacherH6953 soughtH1245 to find outH4672 acceptableH2656 words,H1697 and that which was writtenH3789 uprightly,H3476 [even] wordsH1697 of truth.H571
The wordsH1697 of the wiseH2450 are as goads;H1861 and as nailsH4930 well fastenedH5193 are the words of the mastersH1167 of assemblies,H627 which are givenH5414 from oneH259 shepherd.H7462
And furthermore,H3148 my son,H1121 be admonished:H2094 ofH1992 makingH6213 manyH7235 booksH5612 there is no end;H7093 and muchH7235 studyH3854 is a wearinessH3024 of the flesh.H1320
This is the endH5490 of the matter;H1697 all hath been heard:H8085 fearH3372 God,H430 and keepH8104 his commandments;H4687 for this is the whole duty of man.H120
For GodH430 will bringH935 every workH4639 into judgment,H4941 with every hidden thing,H5956 whether it be good,H2896 or whether it be evil.H7451
