And this day^H3117 shall be unto you for a memorial,^H2146 and ye shall keep^H2287 it a feast^H2282 to Jehovah:^H3068 throughout your generations^H1755 ye shall keep it a feast^H2287 by an ordinance^H2708 for ever.^H5769

And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto the people,^H5971 Remember^H2142 this^H2088 day,^H3117 in which ye came out^H3318 from Egypt,^H4714 out of the house^H1004 of bondage;^H5650 for by strength^H2392 of hand^H3027 Jehovah^H3068 brought you out^H3318 from this place: there shall no leavened bread^H2557 be eaten.^H398

and it shall be unto you for a fringe,^H6734 that ye may look^H7200 upon it, and remember^H2142 all the commandments^H4687 of Jehovah,^H3068 and do^H6213 them; and that ye follow^H8446 not after^H310 your own heart^H3824 and your own eyes,^H5869 after^H310 which ye use to play the harlot;^H2181

And these words,^H1697 which I command^H6680 thee this day,^H3117 shall be upon thy heart;^H3824

then thou shalt say^H559 unto thy son,^H1121 We were Pharaoh's^H6547 bondmen^H5650 in Egypt:^H4714 and Jehovah^H3068 brought us out^H3318 of Egypt^H4714 with a mighty^H2389 hand;^H3027

But the word^H1697 is very^H3966 nigh^H7138 unto thee, in thy mouth,^H6310 and in thy heart,^H3824 that thou mayest do^H6213 it.

and they forsook^H5800 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of their fathers,^H1 who brought them out^H3318 of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 and followed^H3212 other^H312 gods,^H430 of the gods^H430 of the peoples^H5971 that were round about^H5439 them, and bowed^H7812 themselves down unto them: and they provoked Jehovah^H3068 to anger.^H3707

Thou hast a mighty^H1369 arm;^H2220 Strong^H5810 is thy hand,^H3027 and high^H7311 is thy right hand.^H3225

For they shall be a chaplet^H3880 of grace^H2580 unto thy head,^H7218 And chains^H6060 about thy neck.^H1621

My son,^H1121 keep^H5341 the commandment^H4687 of thy father,^H1 And forsake^H5203 not the law^H8451 of thy mother:^H517

Till an arrow^H2671 strike^H6398 through his liver;^H3516 As a bird^H6833 hasteth^H4116 to the snare,^H6341 And knoweth^H3045 not that it is for his life.^H5315

In that day^H3117 Jehovah^H3068 with his hard^H7186 and great^H1419 and strong^H2389 sword^H2719 will punish^H6485 leviathan^H3882 the swift^H1281 serpent,^H5175 and leviathan^H3882 the crooked^H6129 serpent;^H5175 and he will slay^H2026 the monster^H8577 that is in the sea.^H3220

Behold, I have graven^H2710 thee upon the palms of my hands;^H3709 thy walls^H2346 are continually^H8548 before me.

And as for me, this is my covenant^H1285 with them, saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 my Spirit^H7307 that is upon thee, and my words^H1697 which I have put^H7760 in thy mouth,^H6310 shall not depart^H4185 out of thy mouth,^H6310 nor out of the mouth^H6310 of thy seed,^H2233 nor out of the mouth^H6310 of thy seed's^H2233 seed,^H2233 saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 from henceforth and for^H5704 ever.^H5769

And now, O Lord^H136 our God,^H430 that hast brought^H3318 thy people^H5971 forth^H3318 out of the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 with a mighty^H2389 hand,^H3027 and hast gotten^H6213 thee renown,^H8034 as at this day;^H3117 we have sinned,^H2398 we have done wickedly.^H7561

But^G1161 all^G3956 their^G846 works^G2041 they do^G4160 to^G4314 be seen^G2300 of men:^G444 for they make broad^G4115 their^G846 phylacteries,^G5440 and^G2532 enlarge^G3170 the borders^G2899 [of]^G2440 [their]^G846 [garments],^G2440

Therefore^{G5124 G1223} in^G1722 one^G1520 day^G2250 shall^G2240 her^G846 plagues^G4127 come,^G2240 death,^G2288 and^G2532 mourning,^G3997 and^G2532 famine;^G3042 and^G2532 she shall be utterly burned^G2618 with^G1722 fire;^G4442 for^G3754 strong^G2478 is the Lord^G2962 God^G2316 who judged^G2919 her.^G846
