And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Noah,^H5146 Come^H935 thou and all thy house^H1004 into the ark;^H8392 for thee have I seen^H7200 righteous^H6662 before me^H6440 in this^H2088 generation.^H1755

And he said,^H559 I pray you, my brethren,^H251 do not so wickedly.^H7489

And when the people^H5971 saw^H7200 that Moses^H4872 delayed^H954 to come down^H3381 from the mount,^H2022 the people^H5971 gathered themselves together^H6950 unto Aaron,^H175 and said^H559 unto him, Up,^H6965 make^H6213 us gods,^H430 which shall go^H3212 before^H6440 us; for as for this Moses,^H4872 the man^H376 that brought^H5927 us up out of the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 we know^H3045 not what is become of him.

And all the congregation^H5712 lifted up^H5375 their voice,^H6963 and cried;^H5414 and the people^H5971 wept^H1058 that night.^H3915

Thou shalt not wrest^H5186 justice:^H4941 thou shalt not respect^H5234 persons;^H6440 neither shalt thou take^H3947 a bribe;^H7810 for a bribe^H7810 doth blind^H5786 the eyes^H5869 of the wise,^H2450 and pervert^H5557 the words^H1697 of the righteous.^H6662

And if it seem evil^H7489 unto you^H4310 to serve^H5647 Jehovah,^H3068 choose^H977 you this day^H3117 whom^H5869 ye will serve;^H5647 whether the gods^H430 which your fathers^H1 served^H5647 that were beyond^H5676 the River,^H5104 or the gods^H430 of the Amorites,^H567 in whose land^H776 ye dwell:^H3427 but as for me and my house,^H1004 we will serve^H5647 Jehovah.^H3068

And Saul^H7586 said^H559 unto Samuel,^H8050 I have sinned;^H2398 for I have transgressed^H5674 the commandment^H6310 of Jehovah,^H3068 and thy words,^H1697 because I feared^H3372 the people,^H5971 and obeyed^H8085 their voice.^H6963

Because I feared^H6206 the great^H7227 multitude,^H1995 And the contempt^H937 of families^H4940 terrified^H2865 me, So that I kept silence,^H1826 and went not out^H3318 of the door—^H6607

My son,^H1121 if sinners^H2400 entice^H6601 thee, Consent^H14 thou not.

Enter^H935 not into the path^H734 of the wicked,^H7563 And walk^H833 not in the way^H1870 of evil^H7451 men.

And the princes^H8269 were wroth^H7107 with Jeremiah,^H3414 and smote^H5221 him, and put^H5414 him in prison^H612 in the house^H1004 of Jonathan^H3083 the scribe;^H5608 for they had made^H6213 that the prison.^H3608

But^G1161 when^G3753 Cephas^G4074 came^G2064 to^G1519 Antioch,^G490 I resisted^G436 him^G846 to^G2596 the face,^G4383 because^G3754 he stood^G2258 condemned.^G2607
