Wherefore^H3651 say^H559 unto the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 I am Jehovah,^H3068 and I will bring^H3318 you out from under the burdens^H5450 of the Egyptians,^H4714 and I will rid^H5337 you out of their bondage,^H5656 and I will redeem^H1350 you with an outstretched^H5186 arm,^H2220 and with great^H1419 judgments:^H8201

And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto Jehovah,^H3068 Wherefore hast thou dealt ill^H7489 with thy servant?^H5650 and wherefore have I not found^H4672 favor^H2580 in thy sight,^H5869 that thou layest^H7760 the burden^H4853 of all this people^H5971 upon me?

And they fell^H5307 upon their faces,^H6440 and said,^H559 O God,^H410 the God^H430 of the spirits^H7307 of all flesh,^H1320 shall one^H259 man^H376 sin,^H2398 and wilt thou be wroth^H7107 with all the congregation?^H5712

Why should the name^H8034 of our father^H1 be taken away^H1639 from among^H8432 his family,^H4940 because he had no son?^H1121 Give^H5414 unto us a possession^H272 among^H8432 the brethren^H251 of our father.^H1

And I prayed^H6419 unto Jehovah,^H3068 and said,^H559 O Lord^H3068 Jehovah,^H3068 destroy^H7843 not thy people^H5971 and thine inheritance,^H5159 that thou hast redeemed^H6299 through thy greatness,^H1433 that thou hast brought forth^H3318 out of Egypt^H4714 with a mighty^H2389 hand.^H3027

Therefore he said^H559 that he would destroy^H8045 them, Had not^H3884 Moses^H4872 his chosen^H972 stood^H5975 before^H6440 him in the breach,^H6556 To turn away^H7725 his wrath,^H2534 lest he should destroy^H7843 [them].

Righteous^H6662 art thou, O Jehovah,^H3068 when I contend^H7378 with thee; yet would I reason^H1696 the cause^H4941 with thee: wherefore doth the way^H1870 of the wicked^H7563 prosper?^H6743 wherefore are all they at ease^H7951 that deal very^H899 treacherously?^H898

And now, O Lord^H136 our God,^H430 that hast brought^H3318 thy people^H5971 forth^H3318 out of the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 with a mighty^H2389 hand,^H3027 and hast gotten^H6213 thee renown,^H8034 as at this day;^H3117 we have sinned,^H2398 we have done wickedly.^H7561
