A nd MosesH4872 answeredH6030 and said,H559 But, behold, they will not believeH539 me, nor hearkenH8085 unto my voice;H6963 for they will say,H559 JehovahH3068 hath not appearedH7200 unto thee.
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 unto him, What is that in thy hand?H3027 And he said,H559 A rod.H4294
And he said,H559 CastH7993 it on the ground.H776 And he castH7993 it on the ground,H776 and it became a serpent;H5175 and MosesH4872 fledH5127 from beforeH6440 it.
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 unto Moses,H4872 Put forthH7971 thy hand,H3027 and takeH270 it by the tailH2180 (and he put forthH7971 his hand,H3027 and laid holdH2388 of it, and it became a rodH4294 in his hand);H3709
that they may believeH539 that Jehovah,H3068 the GodH430 of their fathers,H1 the GodH430 of Abraham,H85 the GodH430 of Isaac,H3327 and the GodH430 of Jacob,H3290 hath appearedH7200 unto thee.
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 furthermoreH5750 unto him, PutH935 now thy handH3027 into thy bosom.H2436 And he putH935 his handH3027 into his bosom:H2436 and when he tookH3318 it out, behold, his handH3027 was leprous,H6879 as [white as] snow.H7950
And he said,H559 PutH7725 thy handH3027 into thy bosomH2436 again.H7725 (And he putH7725 his handH3027 into his bosomH2436 again;H7725 and when he tookH3318 it out of his bosom,H2436 behold, it was turned againH7725 as his [other] flesh.)H1320
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believeH539 thee, neither hearkenH8085 to the voiceH6963 of the firstH7223 sign,H226 that they will believeH539 the voiceH6963 of the latterH314 sign.H226
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believeH539 even these twoH8147 signs,H226 neither hearkenH8085 unto thy voice,H6963 that thou shalt takeH3947 of the waterH4325 of the river,H2975 and pourH8210 it upon the dryH3004 land: and the waterH4325 which thou takestH3947 out of the riverH2975 shall become bloodH1818 upon the dryH3006 land.
And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto Jehovah,H136 Oh,H994 Lord,H136 IH376 am not eloquent,H1697 neither heretofore,H8032 nor sinceH227 thou hast spokenH1696 unto thy servant;H5650 for I am slowH3515 of speech,H6310 and of a slowH3515 tongue.H3956
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 unto him, Who hath madeH7760 man'sH120 mouth?H6310 Or who makethH7760 [a man] dumb,H483 or deaf,H2795 or seeing,H6493 or blind?H5787 is it not I, Jehovah?H3068
Now therefore go,H3212 and I will be with thy mouth,H6310 and teachH3384 thee what thou shalt speak.H1696
And he said,H559 Oh,H994 Lord,H136 send,H7971 I pray thee, by the handH3027 of him whom thou wilt send.H7971
And the angerH639 of JehovahH3068 was kindledH2734 against Moses,H4872 and he said,H559 Is there not AaronH175 thy brotherH251 the Levite?H3881 I knowH3045 that he can speakH1696 well.H1696 And also, behold, he cometh forthH3318 to meetH7125 thee: and when he seethH7200 thee, he will be gladH8055 in his heart.H3820
And thou shalt speakH1696 unto him, and putH7760 the wordsH1697 in his mouth:H6310 and I will be with thy mouth,H6310 and with his mouth,H6310 and will teachH3384 you what ye shall do.H6213
And he shall be thy spokesmanH1696 unto the people;H5971 and it shall come to pass, that he shall be to thee a mouth,H6310 and thou shalt be to him as God.H430
And thou shalt takeH3947 in thy handH3027 this rod,H4294 wherewith thou shalt doH6213 the signs.H226
And MosesH4872 wentH3212 and returnedH7725 to JethroH3500 his father-in-law,H2859 and saidH559 unto him, Let me go,H3212 I pray thee, and returnH7725 unto my brethrenH251 that are in Egypt,H4714 and seeH7200 whether they be yetH5750 alive.H2416 And JethroH3503 saidH559 to Moses,H4872 GoH3212 in peace.H7965
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872 in Midian,H4080 Go,H3212 returnH7725 into Egypt;H4714 for all the menH582 are deadH4191 that soughtH1245 thy life.H5315
And MosesH4872 tookH3947 his wifeH802 and his sons,H1121 and setH7392 them upon an ass,H2543 and he returnedH7725 to the landH776 of Egypt:H4714 and MosesH4872 tookH3947 the rodH4294 of GodH430 in his hand.H3027
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 unto Moses,H4872 When thou goestH3212 backH7725 into Egypt,H4714 seeH7200 that thou doH6213 beforeH6440 PharaohH6547 all the wondersH4159 which I have putH7760 in thy hand:H3027 but I will hardenH2388 his heart,H3820 and he will not let the peopleH5971 go.H7971
And thou shalt sayH559 unto Pharaoh,H6547 Thus saithH559 Jehovah,H3068 IsraelH3478 is my son,H1121 my first-born:H1060
and I have said unto thee, Let my sonH1121 go,H7971 that he may serveH5647 me; and thou hast refusedH3985 to let him go:H7971 behold, I will slayH2026 thy son,H1121 thy first-born.H1060
And it came to pass on the wayH1870 at the lodging-place,H4411 that JehovahH3068 metH6298 him, and soughtH1245 to killH4191 him.
Then ZipporahH6855 tookH3947 a flint,H6864 and cut offH3772 the foreskinH6190 of her son,H1121 and castH5060 it at his feet;H7272 and she said,H559 Surely a bridegroomH2860 of bloodH1818 art thou to me.
So he let him alone.H7503 Then she said,H559 A bridegroomH2860 of bloodH1818 [art thou], because of the circumcision.H4139
And JehovahH3068 saidH559 to Aaron,H175 GoH3212 into the wildernessH4057 to meetH7125 Moses.H4872 And he went,H3212 and metH6298 him in the mountainH2022 of God,H430 and kissedH5401 him.
And MosesH4872 toldH5046 AaronH175 all the wordsH1697 of JehovahH3068 wherewith he had sentH7971 him, and all the signsH226 wherewith he had chargedH6680 him.
And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 wentH3212 and gathered togetherH622 all the eldersH2205 of the childrenH1121 of Israel:H3478
and AaronH175 spakeH1696 all the wordsH1697 which JehovahH3068 had spokenH1696 unto Moses,H4872 and didH6213 the signsH226 in the sightH5869 of the people.H5971
And the peopleH5971 believed:H539 and when they heardH8085 that JehovahH3068 had visitedH6485 the childrenH1121 of Israel,H3478 and that he had seenH7200 their affliction,H6040 then they bowed their headsH6915 and worshipped.H7812
