And Abraham^H85 took^H3947 Ishmael^H3458 his son,^H1121 and all that were born^H3211 in his house,^H1004 and all that were bought^H4736 with his money,^H3701 every male^H2145 among the men^H582 of Abraham's^H85 house,^H1004 and circumcised^H4135 the flesh^H1320 of their foreskin^H6190 in the selfsame^H6106 day,^H3117 as God^H430 had said^H1696 unto him.

And Abraham^H85 circumcised^H4135 his son^H1121 Isaac^H3327 when he was eight^H8083 days^H3117 old,^H1121 as God^H430 had commanded^H6680 him.

Only on this condition^H2063 will the men^H582 consent^H225 unto us to dwell^H3427 with us, to become one^H259 people,^H5971 if every male^H2145 among us be circumcised,^H4135 as they are circumcised.^H4135

And when a stranger^H1616 shall sojourn^H1481 with thee, and will keep^H6213 the passover^H6453 to Jehovah,^H3068 let all his males^H2145 be circumcised,^H4135 and then let him come near^H7126 and keep^H6213 it; and he shall be as one that is born^H249 in the land:^H776 but no uncircumcised person^H6189 shall eat^H398 thereof.

And Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 will circumcise^H4135 thy heart,^H3824 and the heart^H3824 of thy seed,^H2233 to love^H157 Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 with all thy heart,^H3824 and with all thy soul,^H5315 that thou mayest live.^H2416

And this is the cause^H1697 why Joshua^H3091 did circumcise:^H4135 all the people^H5971 that came forth out^H3318 of Egypt,^H4714 that were males,^H2145 even all the men^H582 of war,^H4421 died^H4191 in the wilderness^H4057 by the way,^H1870 after they came forth out^H3318 of Egypt.^H4714

Behold, the days^H3117 come,^H935 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 that I will punish^H6485 all them that are circumcised^H4135 in [their] uncircumcision:^H6190

And^G2532 he gave^G1325 him^G846 the covenant^G1242 of circumcision:^G4061 and^G2532 so^G3779 [Abraham] begat^G1080 Isaac,^G2464 and^G2532 circumcised^G4059 him^G846 the eighth^G3590 day;^G2250 and^G2532 Isaac^G2464 [begat] Jacob,^G2384 and^G2532 Jacob^G2384 the twelve^G1427 patriarchs.^G3966

whom^G3739 God^G2316 set forth^G4388 [to be] a propitiation,^G2435 through^G1223 faith,^G4102 in^G1722 his^G846 blood,^G129 to^G1519 show^G1732 his^G846 righteousness^G1343 because^G1223 of the passing over^G3929 of the sins^G265 done aforetime,^G4266 in the forbearance of God;

if so be^G1897 that God^G2316 is one,^G1520 and^G2532 he shall justify^G1344 the circumcision^G4061 by^G1537 faith,^G4102 and^G2532 the uncircumcision^G203 through^G1223 faith.^G4102

Was^G2564 any man^G5100 called^G2564 being circumcised?^G4059 Let him^G1986 not^G3361 become uncircumcised.^G1986 Hath^G2564 any^G5100 been called^G2564 in^G1722 uncircumcision?^G203 Let him^G4059 not^G3361 be circumcised.^G4059

Yea,^G1161 I testify^G3143 again^G3825 to every^G3956 man^G444 that receiveth circumcision,^G4059 that^G3754 he is^G2076 a debtor^G3781 to do^G4160 the^G3551 whole^G3650 law.^G3551

Wherefore^G1352 remember,^G3421 that^G3754 once^G4218 ye,^G5210 the Gentiles^G1484 in^G1722 the flesh,^G4561 who are^G3588 called^G3004 Uncircumcision^G203 by^G5259 that which is^G3588 called^G3004 Circumcision,^G4061 in^G1722 the flesh,^G4561 made by hands;^G5499

in^G1722 whom^G3739 ye were also^G2532 circumcised^G4059 with a circumcision^G4061 not made with hands,^G886 in^G1722 the putting off^G555 of the body^G4983 of the flesh,^G4561 in^G1722 the circumcision^G4061 of Christ;^G5547
