And God^H430 saw^H7200 everything that^H834 he had made,^H6213 and, behold, it was very^H3966 good.^H2896 And there was evening^H6153 and there was morning,^H1242 the sixth^H8345 day.^H3117

Remember^H2142 the sabbath^H7676 day,^H3117 to keep it holy.^H6942

Speak^H1696 thou also unto the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 saying,^H559 Verily^H389 ye shall keep^H8104 my sabbaths:^H7676 for it is a sign^H226 between me and you throughout your generations;^H1755 that ye may know^H3045 that I am Jehovah^H3068 who sanctifieth^H6942 you.

Six^H8337 days^H3117 shall work^H4399 be done;^H6213 but on the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 there shall be to you a holy day,^H6944 a sabbath^H7676 of solemn rest^H7677 to Jehovah:^H3068 whosoever doeth^H6213 any work^H4399 therein shall be put to death.^H4191

Speak^H1696 unto the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 and say^H559 unto them, When ye come^H935 into the land^H776 which I give^H5414 you, then shall the land^H776 keep^H7673 a sabbath^H7676 unto Jehovah.^H3068

and madest known^H3045 unto them thy holy^H6944 sabbath,^H7676 and commandedst^H6680 them commandments,^H4687 and statutes,^H2706 and a law,^H8451 by^H3027 Moses^H4872 thy servant,^H5650

The blessing^H1293 of Jehovah,^H3068 it maketh rich;^H6238 And he addeth^H3254 no sorrow^H6089 therewith.

If thou turn away^H7725 thy foot^H7272 from the sabbath,^H7676 from doing^H6213 thy pleasure^H2656 on my holy^H6944 day;^H3117 and call^H7121 the sabbath^H7676 a delight,^H6027 [and] the holy^H6918 of Jehovah^H3068 honorable;^H3513 and shalt honor^H3513 it, not doing^H6213 thine own ways,^H1870 nor finding^H4672 thine own pleasure,^H2656 nor speaking^H1696 [thine own] words:^H1697

Moreover also I gave^H5414 them my sabbaths,^H7676 to be a sign^H226 between me and them, that they might know^H3045 that I am Jehovah^H3068 that sanctifieth^H6942 them.

And^G1161 they returned,^G5290 and prepared^G2090 spices^G759 and^G2532 ointments.^G3464 And^G2532 on the^G3303 sabbath they^G3303 rested^G2270 according to^G2596 the commandment.^G1785
