As for me,^H589 behold, my covenant^H1285 is with thee, and thou shalt be the father^H1 of a multitude^H1995 of nations.^H1471

And they blessed^H1288 Rebekah,^H7259 and said^H559 unto her, Our^H859 sister,^H269 be thou^H1961 [the mother] of thousands^H505 of ten thousands,^H7233 and let thy seed^H2233 possess^H3423 the gate^H8179 of those that hate^H8130 them.

Let peoples^H5971 serve^H5647 thee, And nations^H3816 bow down^H7812 to thee: Be^H1933 lord^H1376 over thy brethren,^H251 And let thy mother's^H517 sons^H1121 bow down^H7812 to thee: Cursed^H779 be every one that curseth^H779 thee, And blessed^H1288 be every one that blesseth^H1288 thee.

And by thy sword^H2719 shalt thou live,^H2421 and thou shalt serve^H5647 thy brother;^H251 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt break^H6561 loose, That thou shalt shake^H6561 his yoke^H5923 from off thy neck.^H6677

And he himself passed over^H5674 before them,^H6440 and bowed himself^H7812 to the ground^H776 seven^H7651 times,^H6471 until he came near^H5066 to his brother.^H251

Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Because that Edom^H123 hath dealt^H6213 against the house^H1004 of Judah^H3063 by taking^H5358 vengeance,^H5359 and hath greatly^H816 offended,^H816 and revenged^H5358 himself upon them;

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Edom,^H123 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because he did pursue^H7291 his brother^H251 with the sword,^H2719 and did cast off^H7843 all pity,^H7356 and his anger^H639 did tear^H2963 perpetually,^H5703 and he kept^H8104 his wrath^H5678 for ever:^H5331

And saviours^H3467 shall come up^H5927 on mount^H2022 Zion^H6726 to judge^H8199 the mount^H2022 of Esau;^H6215 and the kingdom^H4410 shall be Jehovah's.^H3068
