But God^H430 came^H935 to Abimelech^H40 in a dream^H2472 of the night,^H3915 and said^H559 to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man,^H4191 because of the woman^H802 whom thou hast taken;^H3947 for she is a man's^H1167 wife.^H1166

Then Abimelech^H40 called^H7121 Abraham,^H85 and said^H559 unto him, What hast thou done^H6213 unto us? and wherein have I sinned^H2398 against thee, that thou hast brought^H935 on me and on my kingdom^H4467 a great^H1419 sin?^H2401 thou hast done^H6213 deeds^H4639 unto me that ought not to be done.^H6213

And the man^H376 that committeth adultery^H5003 with another man's^H376 wife,^H802 even he that committeth adultery^H5003 with his neighbor's^H7453 wife,^H802 the adulterer^H5003 and the adulteress^H5003 shall surely^H4191 be put to death.^H4191

then they shall bring out^H3318 the damsel^H5291 to the door^H6607 of her father's^H1 house,^H1004 and the men^H582 of her city^H5892 shall stone^H5619 her to death^H4191 with stones,^H68 because she hath wrought^H6213 folly^H5039 in Israel,^H3478 to play the harlot^H2181 in her father's^H1 house:^H1004 so shalt thou put^H1197 away^H1197 the evil^H7451 from the midst^H7130 of thee.

And his concubine^H6370 played the harlot^H2181 against him, and went away^H3212 from him unto her father's^H1 house^H1004 to Beth-lehem-judah,^H1035 and was there the space of four^H702 months.^H2320

And Nathan^H5416 said^H559 to David,^H1732 Thou art the man.^H376 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 I anointed^H4886 thee king^H4428 over Israel,^H3478 and I delivered^H5337 thee out of the hand^H3027 of Saul;^H7586

For of old time^H5769 I have broken^H7665 thy yoke,^H5923 and burst^H5423 thy bonds;^H4147 and thou saidst,^H559 I will not serve;^H5674 for upon every high^H1364 hill^H1389 and under every green^H7488 tree^H6086 thou didst bow thyself,^H6808 playing the harlot.^H2181

Moreover Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me in the days^H3117 of Josiah^H2977 the king,^H4428 Hast thou seen^H7200 that which backsliding^H4878 Israel^H3478 hath done?^H6213 she is gone up^H1980 upon every high^H1364 mountain^H2022 and under^H8478 every green^H7488 tree,^H6086 and there hath played the harlot.^H2181

and of them shall be taken up^H3947 a curse^H7045 by all the captives^H1546 of Judah^H3063 that are in Babylon,^H894 saying,^H559 Jehovah^H3068 make^H7760 thee like Zedekiah^H6667 and like Ahab,^H256 whom the king^H4428 of Babylon^H894 roasted^H7033 in the fire;^H784

Thou hast played the harlot^H2181 also with the Assyrians,^H1121 because^H1115 thou wast insatiable;^H7646 yea, thou hast played the harlot^H2181 with them, and yet thou wast not satisfied.^H7654

And Oholah^H170 played the harlot^H2181 when she was mine;^H8478 and she doted^H5689 on her lovers,^H157 on the Assyrians^H804 [her] neighbors,^H7138

And they went in^H935 unto her, as they go in^H935 unto a^H802 harlot:^H2181 so went they in^H935 unto Oholah^H170 and unto Oholibah,^H172 the lewd^H2154 women.^H802

and I said^H559 unto her, Thou shalt abide^H3427 for me many^H7227 days;^H3117 thou shalt not play the harlot,^H2181 and thou shalt not be^H1961 any man's^H376 wife: so will I also be toward thee.

Judge^G2919 not,^G3361 that^G2443 ye be^G2919 not^G3361 judged.^G2919

The faith^G4102 which thou^G4771 hast,^G2192 have^G2192 thou to^G2596 thyself^G4572 before^G1799 God.^G2316 Happy^G3107 is he that judgeth^G2919 not^G3361 himself^G1438 in^G1722 that which^G3739 he approveth.^G1381
