And Joseph^H3130 was the governor^H7989 over the land;^H776 he it was that sold^H7666 to all the people^H5971 of the land.^H776 And Joseph's^H3130 brethren^H251 came,^H935 and bowed down^H7812 themselves to him with their faces^H639 to the earth.^H776

And as one^H259 of them opened^H6605 his sack^H8242 to give^H5414 his ass^H2543 provender^H4554 in the lodging-place,^H4411 he espied^H7200 his money;^H3701 and, behold, it was in the mouth^H6310 of his sack.^H572

Jehovah^H3068 will smite^H5221 thee with consumption,^H7829 and with fever,^H6920 and with inflammation,^H1816 and with fiery heat,^H2746 and with the sword,^H2719 and with blasting,^H7711 and with mildew;^H3420 and they shall pursue^H7291 thee until thou perish.^H6

If there be in the land^H776 famine,^H7458 if there be pestilence,^H1698 if there be blasting^H7711 or mildew,^H3420 locust^H697 or caterpillar;^H2625 if their enemies^H341 besiege^H6887 them in the land^H776 of their cities;^H8179 whatsoever plague^H5061 or whatsoever sickness^H4245 there be;

But they that are godless^H2611 in heart^H3820 lay up^H7760 anger:^H639 They cry^H7768 not for help when he bindeth^H631 them.

Yet the people^H5971 have not turned^H7725 unto him that smote^H5221 them, neither have they sought^H1875 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

Therefore their inhabitants^H3427 were of small^H7116 power,^H3027 they were dismayed^H2865 and confounded;^H954 they were as the grass^H6212 of the field,^H7704 and as the green^H3419 herb,^H1877 as the grass^H2682 on the housetops,^H1406 and as a field [of grain]^H7709 before^H6440 it is grown up.^H7054

Jehovah^H3068 hath sworn^H7650 by his right hand,^H3225 and by the arm^H2220 of his strength,^H5797 Surely I will^H518 no more give^H5414 thy grain^H1715 to be food^H3978 for thine enemies;^H341 and foreigners^{H5236 H1121} shall not drink^H8354 thy new wine,^H8492 for which thou hast labored:^H3021

O Jehovah,^H3068 do not thine eyes^H5869 look upon truth?^H530 thou hast stricken^H5221 them, but they were not grieved;^H2342 thou hast consumed^H3615 them, but they have refused^H3985 to receive^H3947 correction:^H4148 they have made their faces^H6440 harder^H2388 than a rock;^H5553 they have refused^H3985 to return.^H7725

Moreover thou shalt say^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Shall men fall,^H5307 and not rise^H6965 up again? Shall one turn away,^H7725 and not return?^H7725

And I also have given^H5414 you cleanness^H5356 of teeth^H8127 in all your cities,^H5892 and want^H2640 of bread^H3899 in all your places;^H4725 yet have ye not returned^H7725 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

I have smitten^H5221 you with blasting^H7711 and mildew:^H3420 the multitude^H7235 of your gardens^H1593 and your vineyards^H3754 and your fig-trees^H2132 and your olive-trees^H8384 hath the palmer-worm^H1501 devoured:^H398 yet have ye not returned^H7725 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

I have overthrown^H2015 [cities] among you, as when God^H430 overthrew^H4114 Sodom^H5467 and Gomorrah,^H6017 and ye were as a brand^H181 plucked out^H5337 of the burning:^H8316 yet have ye not returned^H7725 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

And I called^H7121 for a drought^H2721 upon the land,^H776 and upon the mountains,^H2022 and upon the grain,^H1715 and upon the new wine,^H8492 and upon the oil,^H3323 and upon that which the ground^H127 bringeth forth,^H3318 and upon men,^H120 and upon cattle,^H929 and upon all the labor^H3018 of the hands.^H3709

Thus hath Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 spoken,^H559 saying,^H559 Execute^H8199 true^H571 judgment,^H4941 and show^H6213 kindness^H2617 and compassion^H7356 every man^H376 to his brother;^H251

And^G2532 I gave^G1325 her^G846 time^G5550 that she should^G2443 repent;^G3340 and^G2532 she willeth not^G3756 to repent^G3340 of^G1537 her^G846 fornication.^G4202
