It repenteth^H5162 me that I have set up^H4427 Saul^H7586 to be king;^H4428 for he is turned back^H7725 from following^H310 me, and hath not performed^H6965 my commandments.^H1697 And Samuel^H8050 was wroth;^H2734 and he cried^H2199 unto Jehovah^H3068 all night.^H3915

For the backsliding^H4878 of the simple^H6612 shall slay^H2026 them, And the careless ease^H7962 of fools^H3684 shall destroy^H6 them.

He^G3588 that believeth^G4100 and^G2532 is baptized^G907 shall be saved;^G4982 but^G1161 he^G3588 that disbelieveth^G569 shall be condemned.^G2632

that^G2443 whosoever^G3956 believeth^G4100 may in^G1519 him^G846 have^G2192 eternal^G166 life.^G2222

For^G1161 this^G5124 is^G2076 the will^G2307 of my Father, ^{G3992 G3165} that^G2443 every one^G3956 that beholdeth^G2334 the Son,^G5207 and^G2532 believeth^G4100 on^G1519 him,^G846 should have^G2192 eternal^G166 life;^G2222 and^G2532 I^G1473 will raise^G450 him^G846 up^G450 at the^G2250 last^G2078 day.^G2250

but^G1161 these^G5023 are written,^G1125 that^G2443 ye may believe^G4100 that^G3754 Jesus^G2424 is^G2076 the Christ,^G5547 the Son^G5207 of God;^G2316 and^G2532 that^G2443 believing^G4100 ye may have^G2192 life^G2222 in^G1722 his^G846 name.^G3686

because^G3754 if^G1437 thou shalt confess^G3670 with^G1722 thy^G4675 mouth^G4750 Jesus^G2424 [as] Lord,^G2962 and^G2532 shalt believe^G4100 in^G1722 thy^G4675 heart^G2588 that^G3754 God^G2316 raised^G1453 him^G846 from^G1537 the dead,^G3498 thou shalt be saved:^G4982

let^G1818 no^G3361 man^G5100 beguile^G1818 you^G5209 in^G2596 any^G3367 wise:^G5158 for^G3754 [it will not be,] except^G1437 the falling away^G646 come^G2064 first,^G4412 and^G2532 the man^G444 of sin^G266 be revealed,^G601 the son^G5207 of perdition,^G3361

But^G1161 they that are minded^G1014 to be rich^G4147 fall^G1706 into^G1519 a temptation^G3986 and^G2532 a snare^G3803 and^G2532 many^G4183 foolish^G453 and^G2532 hurtful^G983 lusts,^G1939 such as^G3748 drown^G1036 men^G444 in^G1519 destruction^G3639 and^G2532 perdition.^G684

For^G1063 if^G264 we^G2257 sin^G264 wilfully^G1596 after^G3326 that we have received^G2983 the knowledge^G1922 of the truth,^G225 there remaineth^G620 no more^G3765 a sacrifice^G2378 for^G4012 sins,^G266

who^G3588 by^G1722 the power^G1411 of God^G2316 are guarded^G5432 through^G1223 faith^G4102 unto^G1519 a salvation^G4991 ready^G2092 to be revealed^G601 in^G1722 the last^G2078 time.^G2540

And who^G5101 is^G2076 he that overcometh^G3528 the world,^G2889 but^{G1487 G3361} he that believeth^G4100 that^G3754 Jesus^G2424 is^G2076 the Son^G5207 of God?^G2316

These^G3778 are^G1526 they who are hidden rocks^G4694 in^G1722 your^G5216 love-feasts^G26 when they feast with^G4910 you,^G5213 shepherds that without fear^G870 feed^G4165 themselves;^G1438 clouds^G3507 without water,^G504 carried along^G4064 by^G5259 winds;^G417 autumn^G5352 leaves^G1186 without fruit,^G175 twice^G1364 dead,^G599 plucked up by the roots;^G1610

And^G2532 the beast^G2342 that^G3739 was,^G2258 and^G2532 is^G2076 not,^G3756 is^G2076 himself^G846 also^G2532 an eighth,^G3590 and^G2532 is^G2076 of^G1537 the seven;^G2033 and^G2532 he goeth^G5217 into^G1519 perdition.^G684
