And the angel^H4397 of Jehovah^H3068 came,^H935 and sat^H3427 under the oak^H424 which was in Ophrah,^H6084 that pertained unto Joash^H3101 the Abiezrite:^H33 and his son^H1121 Gideon^H1439 was beating^H2251 out wheat^H2406 in the winepress,^H1660 to hide^H5127 it from^H6440 the Midianites.^H4080

And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 again^H3254 did^H6213 that which was evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah;^H3068 and Jehovah^H3068 delivered^H5414 them into the hand^H3027 of the Philistines^H6430 forty^H705 years.^H8141

And it came to pass, when the time^H3117 was come^H8622 about, that Hannah^H2584 conceived,^H2029 and bare^H3205 a son;^H1121 and she called^H7121 his name^H8034 Samuel,^H8050 [saying], Because I have asked^H7592 him of Jehovah.^H3068

But Samuel^H8050 ministered^H8334 before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 being a child,^H5288 girded^H2296 with a linen^H906 ephod.^H646

And Jehovah^H3068 sent^H7971 Jerubbaal,^H3378 and Bedan,^H917 and Jephthah,^H3316 and Samuel,^H8050 and delivered^H5337 you out of the hand^H3027 of your enemies^H341 on every side;^H5439 and ye dwelt^H3427 in safety.^H983

Then Samuel^H8050 took^H3947 the horn^H7161 of oil,^H8081 and anointed^H4886 him in the midst^H7130 of his brethren:^H251 and the Spirit^H7307 of Jehovah^H3068 came^H6743 mightily upon David^H1732 from that day^H3117 forward.^H4605 So Samuel^H8050 rose up,^H6965 and went^H3212 to Ramah.^H7414

Now Samuel^H8050 was dead,^H4191 and all Israel^H3478 had lamented^H5594 him, and buried^H6912 him in Ramah,^H7414 even in his own city.^H5892 And Saul^H7586 had put away^H5493 those that had familiar spirits,^H178 and the wizards,^H3049 out of the land.^H776

Then said^H559 Jehovah^H3068 unto me, Though Moses^H4872 and Samuel^H8050 stood^H5975 before^H6440 me, yet my mind^H5315 would not be toward this people:^H5971 cast them out^H7971 of my sight,^H6440 and let them go forth.^H3318

There^G1563 shall be^G2071 the weeping^G2805 and^G2532 the gnashing^G1030 of teeth,^G3599 when^G3752 ye shall see^G3700 Abraham,^G11 and^G2532 Isaac,^G2464 and^G2532 Jacob,^G2384 and^G2532 all^G3956 the prophets,^G4396 in^G1722 the kingdom^G932 of God,^G2316 and^G1161 yourselves^G5209 cast^G1544 forth^G1854 without.

And^G1161 there are^G2076 also^G2532 many^G4183 other things^G243 which^G3745 Jesus^G2424 did,^G4160 the which^G3748 if^G1437 they should be written^G1125 every^G2596 one,^G1520 I suppose that^G3633 even the world^G2889 itself^G846 would^G5562 not^G3761 contain^G5562 the books^G975 that should be written.^G1125

Yea^G1161 and^G2532 all^G3956 the prophets^G4396 from^G575 Samuel^G4545 and^G2532 them that followed after,^G2517 as many as^G3745 have spoken,^G2980 they^G4293 also^G2532 told^G4293 of^G2250 these^G3778 days.^G2250

and^G2532 after^G3326 these things^G5023 he gave^G1325 [them] judges^G2923 until^G2193 Samuel^G4545 the prophet.^G4396

But^G1161 if^G1487 our^G2257 righteousness^G1343 commendeth^G4921 the righteousness^G1343 of God,^G2316 what^G5101 shall we say?^G2046 Is God^G2316 unrighteous^G94 who visiteth^G2018 with wrath?^G3709 (I speak^G3004 after the manner^G2596 of men.)^G444

What^G5101 shall we say^G2046 then?^G3767 Shall we continue^G1961 in sin,^G266 that^G2443 grace^G5485 may abound?^G4121

Take,^{G2983 G3450} brethren,^G80 None for an example^G5262 of suffering^G2552 and^G2532 of patience,^G3115 the prophets^G4396 who^G3739 spake^G2980 in the name^G3686 of the Lord.^G2962

For^G1063 no prophecy^G4394 ever^G3756 came^{G5342 G4218} by the will^G2307 of man:^G444 but^{G235 G40} men^G444 spake^G2980 from^G5259 God,^G2316 being moved^G5342 by the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit.^G4151
