And Cain^H7014 told^H559 Abel^H1893 his^H413 brother.^H251 And it came to pass, when they were in the field,^H7704 that Cain^H7014 rose up^H6965 against^H413 Abel^H1893 his brother,^H251 and slew him.^H2026

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto him, Therefore^H3651 whosoever slayeth^H2026 Cain,^H7014 vengeance shall be taken^H5358 on him sevenfold.^H7659 And Jehovah^H3068 appointed^H7760 a sign^H226 for Cain,^H7014 lest^H1115 any finding^H4672 him should smite^H5221 him.

And there came^H3318 forth fire^H784 from before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 and consumed^H398 upon the altar^H4196 the burnt-offering^H5930 and the fat:^H2459 and when all the people^H5971 saw^H7200 it, they shouted,^H7442 and fell^H5307 on their faces.^H6440

Shall not they teach^H3384 thee, and tell^H559 thee, And utter^H3318 words^H4405 out of their heart?^H3820

The sacrifice^H2077 of the wicked^H7563 is an abomination:^H8441 How much more, when he bringeth^H935 it with a wicked mind!^H2154

from^G575 the blood^G129 of Abel^G6 unto^G2193 the blood^G129 of Zachariah,^G2197 who perished^G622 between^G3342 the altar^G2379 and^G2532 the sanctuary:^G3624 yea,^G3483 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 it shall be required^G1567 of^G575 this^G3778 generation.^G1074

And^G2532 according^G2596 to the law,^G3551 I may almost^G4975 say, all things^G3956 are^G2511 cleansed^G2511 with^G1722 blood,^G129 and^G2532 apart^G5565 from shedding of blood^G130 there is^G1096 no^G3756 remission.^G859

and^G2532 to Jesus^G2424 the^G1242 mediator^G3316 of a new^G3501 covenant,^G1242 and^G2532 to the^G1242 blood^G129 of sprinkling^G4473 that speaketh^G2980 better than^G3844 [that of] Abel.^G6

Woe^G3759 unto them!^G846 For^G3754 they went^G4198 in the way^G3598 of Cain,^G2535 and^G2532 ran riotously^G1632 in the error^G4106 of Balaam^G903 for hire,^G3408 and^G2532 perished^G622 in the gainsaying^G485 of Korah.^G2879
