And Aaron^H175 said^H559 unto them, Break off^H6561 the golden^H2091 rings,^H5141 which are in the ears^H241 of your wives,^H802 of your sons,^H1121 and of your daughters,^H1323 and bring^H935 them unto me.

And there was a man^H376 of the hill-country^H2022 of Ephraim,^H669 whose name^H8034 was Micah.^H4321

He hath walled up^H1443 my way^H734 that I cannot pass,^H5674 And hath set^H7760 darkness^H2822 in my paths.^H5410

The new wine^H8492 mourneth,^H56 the vine^H1612 languisheth,^H535 all the merry-hearted^H8056 do sigh.^H584

The children^H1121 gather^H3950 wood,^H6086 and the fathers^H1 kindle^H1197 the fire,^H784 and the women^H802 knead^H3888 the dough,^H1217 to make^H6213 cakes^H3561 to the queen^H4446 of heaven,^H8064 and to pour out^H5258 drink-offerings^H5262 unto other^H312 gods,^H430 that they may provoke me to anger.^H3707

And thou didst take^H3947 of thy garments,^H899 and madest for thee high places^H1116 decked^H6213 with divers colors,^H2921 and playedst the harlot^H2181 upon them: [the like things] shall not come,^H935 neither shall it be [so].

but hast lifted up^H7313 thyself against^H5922 the Lord^H4756 of heaven;^H8065 and they have brought^H858 the vessels^H3984 of his house^H1005 before^H6925 thee, and thou^H607 and thy lords,^H7261 thy wives^H7695 and thy concubines,^H3904 have drunk^H8355 wine^H2562 from them; and thou hast praised^H7624 the gods^H426 of silver^H3702 and gold,^H1722 of brass,^H5174 iron,^H6523 wood,^H636 and stone,^H69 which see^H2370 not,^H3809 nor^H3809 hear,^H8086 nor^H3809 know;^H3046 and the God^H426 in whose hand^H3028 thy breath^H5396 is, and whose are all^H3606 thy ways,^H735 hast thou not^H3809 glorified.^H1922

Whoredom^H2184 and wine^H3196 and new wine^H8492 take away^H3947 the understanding.^H3820

Israel^H3478 is a luxuriant^H1238 vine,^H1612 that putteth forth^H7737 his fruit:^H6529 according to the abundance^H7230 of his fruit^H6529 he hath multiplied^H7235 his altars;^H4196 according to the goodness^H2896 of their land^H776 they have made goodly^H2895 [ pillars.]^H4676

Therefore he sacrificeth^H2076 unto his net,^H2764 and burneth incense^H6999 unto his drag;^H4365 because by them^H1992 his portion^H2506 is fat,^H8082 and his food^H3978 plenteous.^H1277
