TSK · Isaiah 1:9

And he said,^H559 Oh let not the Lord^H136 be angry,^H2734 and I will speak^H1696 yet^H389 but this once:^H6471 peradventure ten^H6235 shall be found^H4672 there. And he said,^H559 I will not destroy^H7843 it for the ten's^H6235 sake.

[ and that] the whole land^H776 thereof is brimstone,^H1614 and salt,^H4417 [and] a burning,^H8316 [that] it is not sown,^H2232 nor beareth,^H6779 nor any grass^H6212 groweth^H5927 therein, like the overthrow^H4114 of Sodom^H5467 and Gomorrah,^H6017 Admah^H126 and Zeboiim,^H6636 which Jehovah^H3068 overthrew^H2015 in his anger,^H639 and in his wrath:^H2534

And if there be yet a tenth^H6224 in it, it also shall in turn^H7725 be eaten^H1197 up: as a terebinth,^H424 and as an oak,^H437 whose stock^H4678 remaineth, when they are felled;^H7995 so the holy^H6944 seed^H2233 is the stock^H4678 thereof.

Yet there shall be left^H7604 therein gleanings,^H5955 as the shaking^H5363 of an olive-tree,^H2132 two^H8147 or three^H7969 berries^H1620 in the top^H7218 of the uppermost bough,^H534 four^H702 or five^H2568 in the outmost branches^H5585 of a fruitful^H6509 tree, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel.^H3478

For thus shall it be in the midst^H7130 of the earth^H776 among^H8432 the peoples,^H5971 as the shaking^H5363 of an olive-tree,^H2132 as the gleanings^H5955 when the vintage^H1210 is done.^H3615

And the remnant^H7604 that is escaped^H6413 of the house^H1004 of Judah^H3063 shall again^H3254 take root^H8328 downward,^H4295 and bear^H6213 fruit^H6529 upward.^H4605

For the iniquity^H5771 of the daughter^H1323 of my people^H5971 is greater^H1431 than the sin^H2403 of Sodom,^H5467 That was overthrown^H2015 as in a moment,^H7281 and no hands^H3027 were laid^H2342 upon her.

Yet, behold, therein shall be left^H3498 a remnant^H6413 that shall be carried forth,^H3318 both sons^H1121 and daughters:^H1323 behold, they shall come forth^H3318 unto you, and ye shall see^H7200 their way^H1870 and their doings;^H5949 and ye shall be comforted^H5162 concerning the evil^H7451 that I have brought^H935 upon Jerusalem,^H3389 even concerning all that I have brought^H935 upon it.

I have overthrown^H2015 [cities] among you, as when God^H430 overthrew^H4114 Sodom^H5467 and Gomorrah,^H6017 and ye were as a brand^H181 plucked out^H5337 of the burning:^H8316 yet have ye not returned^H7725 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Therefore as I live,^H2416 saith^H5002 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 Surely Moab^H4124 shall be as Sodom,^H5467 and the children^H1121 of Ammon^H5983 as Gomorrah,^H6017 a possession^H4476 of nettles,^H2738 and saltpits,^H4379 and a perpetual^H5704 desolation:^H8077 the residue^H7611 of my people^H5971 shall make a prey^H962 of them, and the remnant^H3499 of my nation^H1471 shall inherit^H5157 them.

For^G3754 narrow^G2346 is the gate,^G4439 and^G2532 straitened^G2346 the way,^G3598 that leadeth^G520 unto^G1519 life,^G2222 and^G2532 few^G3641 are^G1526 they that find^G2147 it.^G846

And^G1161 Isaiah^G2268 crieth^G2896 concerning^G5228 Israel,^G2474 If^G1437 the number^G706 of the children^G5207 of Israel^G2474 be^G5600 as^G5613 the sand^G285 of the sea,^G2281 it is the remnant^G2640 that shall be saved:^G4982

But^G235 what^G5101 saith^G3004 the answer of God^G5538 unto him?^G846 I have left^G2641 for myself^G1683 seven thousand^G2035 men,^G435 who^G3748 have^G2578 not^G3756 bowed^G2578 the knee^G1119 to^G896 Baal.^G896
