And Jehovah^H3068 sent^H7971 an angel,^H4397 who cut off^H3582 all the mighty men^H1368 of valor,^H2428 and the leaders^H5057 and captains,^H8269 in the camp^H4264 of the king^H4428 of Assyria.^H804 So he returned^H7725 with shame^H1322 of face^H6440 to his own land.^H776 And when he was come^H935 into the house^H1004 of his god,^H430 they that came forth^H3329 from his own bowels^H4578 slew^H5307 him there with the sword.^H2719

The lofty^H1365 looks^H5869 of man^H120 shall be brought low,^H8213 and the haughtiness^H7312 of men^H582 shall be bowed down,^H7817 and Jehovah^H3068 alone shall be exalted^H7682 in that day.^H3117

and upon all the cedars^H730 of Lebanon,^H3844 that are high^H7311 and lifted up,^H5375 and upon all the oaks^H437 of Bashan,^H1316

For before^H6440 the harvest,^H7105 when the blossom^H6525 is over,^H8552 and the flower^H5328 becometh a ripening^H1580 grape,^H1155 he will cut off^H3772 the sprigs^H2150 with pruning-hooks,^H4211 and the spreading branches^H5189 will he take away^H5493 [and] cut down.^H8456

And I will prepare^H6942 destroyers^H7843 against thee, every one^H376 with his weapons;^H3627 and they shall cut down^H3772 thy choice^H4005 cedars,^H730 and cast^H5307 them into the fire.^H784

Yet destroyed^H8045 I the Amorite^H567 before^H6440 them, whose height^H1363 was like the height^H1363 of the cedars,^H730 and he was strong^H2634 as the oaks;^H437 yet I destroyed^H8045 his fruit^H6529 from above,^H4605 and his roots^H8328 from beneath.
