And Jehovah^H3068 will set him apart^H914 unto evil^H7451 out of all the tribes^H7626 of Israel,^H3478 according to all the curses^H423 of the covenant^H1285 that is written^H3789 in this book^H5612 of the law.^H8451

And it came to pass, as they fled^H5127 from before^H6440 Israel,^H3478 while they were at the descent^H4174 of Beth-horon,^H1032 that Jehovah^H3068 cast down^H4174 great^H1419 stones^H68 from heaven^H8064 upon them unto Azekah,^H5825 and they died:^H4191 they were more^H7227 who died^H4191 with the hailstones^H1259 than they whom^H834 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 slew^H2026 with the sword.^H2719

And David^H1732 came^H935 to Baal-perazim,^H1188 and David^H1732 smote^H5221 them there; and he said,^H559 Jehovah^H3068 hath broken^H6555 mine enemies^H341 before^H6440 me, like the breach^H6556 of waters.^H4325 Therefore he called^H7121 the name^H8034 of that place^H4725 Baal-perazim.^H1188

So they came up^H5927 to Baal-perazim,^H1188 and David^H1732 smote^H5221 them there; and David^H1732 said,^H559 God^H430 hath broken^H6555 mine enemies^H341 by my hand,^H3027 like the breach^H6556 of waters.^H4325 Therefore they called^H7121 the name^H8034 of that place^H4725 Baal-perazim.^H1188

Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord^H136 hath performed^H1214 his whole work^H4639 upon mount^H2022 Zion^H6726 and on Jerusalem,^H3389 I will punish^H6485 the fruit^H6529 of the stout^H1433 heart^H3824 of the king^H4428 of Assyria,^H804 and the glory^H8597 of his high^H7312 looks.^H5869

therefore, behold, I will proceed^H3254 to do a marvellous work^H6381 among this people,^H5971 even a marvellous work^H6381 and a wonder;^H6382 and the wisdom^H2451 of their wise^H2450 men shall perish,^H6 and the understanding^H998 of their prudent^H995 men shall be hid.^H5641

as when fire^H784 kindleth^H6919 the brushwood,^H2003 [and] the fire^H784 causeth the waters^H4325 to boil;^H1158 to make thy name^H8034 known^H3045 to thine adversaries,^H6862 that the nations^H1471 may tremble^H7264 at thy presence!^H6440

All that pass^H5674 by clap^H5606 their hands^H3709 at thee;^H1870 They hiss^H8319 and wag^H5128 their head^H7218 at the daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem,^H3389 [saying], Is this the city^H5892 that men called^H559 The perfection^H3632 of beauty,^H3308 The joy^H4885 of the whole earth?^H776

And it came to pass in the twelfth^H8147 year^H8141 of our captivity,^H1546 in the tenth^H6224 [month], in the fifth^H2568 [day] of the month,^H2320 that one that had escaped^H6412 out of Jerusalem^H3389 came^H935 unto me, saying,^H559 The city^H5892 is smitten.^H5221

And^G2532 when^G5613 he drew nigh,^G1448 he saw^G1492 the city^G4172 and wept^G2799 over^G1909 it,^G846
