And Joshua^H3091 said^H559 unto all the people,^H5971 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 Your fathers^H1 dwelt^H3427 of old time^H5769 beyond^H5676 the River,^H5104 even Terah,^H8646 the father^H1 of Abraham,^H85 and the father^H1 of Nahor:^H5152 and they served^H5647 other^H312 gods.^H430

But thou, Israel,^H3478 my servant,^H5650 Jacob^H3290 whom I have chosen,^H977 the seed^H2233 of Abraham^H85 my friend,^H157

Remember^H2142 these things, O Jacob,^H3290 and Israel;^H3478 for thou art my servant:^H5650 I have formed^H3335 thee; thou art my servant:^H5650 O Israel,^H3478 thou shalt not be forgotten^H5382 of me.

In Jehovah^H3068 shall all the seed^H2233 of Israel^H3478 be justified,^H6663 and shall glory.^H1984

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the Redeemer^H1350 of Israel,^H3478 [and] his Holy One,^H6918 to him whom man^H5315 despiseth,^H960 to him whom the nation^H1471 abhorreth,^H8581 to a servant^H5650 of rulers:^H4910 Kings^H4428 shall see^H7200 and arise;^H6965 princes,^H8269 and they shall worship;^H7812 because of Jehovah^H3068 that is faithful,^H539 [even] the Holy One^H6918 of Israel,^H3478 who hath chosen^H977 thee.

And the ransomed^H6299 of Jehovah^H3068 shall return,^H7725 and come^H935 with singing^H7440 unto Zion;^H6726 and everlasting^H5769 joy^H8057 shall be upon their heads:^H7218 they shall obtain^H5381 gladness^H8342 and joy;^H8057 [and] sorrow^H3015 and sighing^H585 shall flee away.^H5127

Arise,^H6965 shine;^H215 for thy light^H216 is come,^H935 and the glory^H3519 of Jehovah^H3068 is risen^H2224 upon thee.

For^H3588 thou art our Father,^H1 though Abraham^H85 knoweth^H3808 us not, and Israel^H3478 doth not acknowledge^H5234 us: thou, O Jehovah,^H3068 art our Father;^H1 our Redeemer^H1350 from everlasting^H5769 is thy name.^H8034

Therefore fear^H3372 thou not, O Jacob^H3290 my servant,^H5650 saith^H5002 Jehovah;^H3068 neither be dismayed,^H2865 O Israel:^H3478 for, lo, I will save^H3467 thee from afar,^H7350 and thy seed^H2233 from the land^H776 of their captivity;^H7628 and Jacob^H3290 shall return,^H7725 and shall be quiet^H8252 and at ease,^H7599 and none shall make him afraid.^H2729

Considerest^H7200 thou not what this people^H5971 have spoken,^H1696 saying,^H559 The two^H8147 families^H4940 which Jehovah^H3068 did choose,^H977 he hath cast them off?^H3988 thus do they despise^H5006 my people,^H5971 that they should be no more a nation^H1471 before^H6440 them.

And the nations^H1471 shall know^H3045 that I am Jehovah^H3068 that sanctifieth^H6942 Israel,^H3478 when my sanctuary^H4720 shall be in the midst^H8432 of them for evermore.^H5769

And ye shall know^H3045 that I am in the midst^H7130 of Israel,^H3478 and that I am Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 and there is none else; and my people^H5971 shall never^H5769 be put to shame.^H954

I say^G3004 then,^G3361 Did they stumble^G3361 that^G2443 they might fall?^G3361 God forbid:^G1096 but^G235 by^G3900 their^G846 fall^G3900 salvation^G4991 [is come] unto the Gentiles,^G1484 to^G1519 provoke^G3863 them^G846 to jealousy.^G3863

And^G2532 they sing^G103 a new^G2537 song,^G5603 saying,^G3004 Worthy^G514 art^G1488 thou to take^G2983 the book,^G975 and^G2532 to open^G455 the seals^G4973 thereof:^G846 for^G3754 thou was slain,^G4969 and^G2532 didst purchase^G59 unto God^G2316 with^G1722 thy^G4675 blood^G129 [men]^G2248 of^G1537 every^G3956 tribe,^G5443 and^G2532 tongue,^G1100 and^G2532 people,^G2992 and^G2532 nation,^G1484
