but the land,^H776 whither ye go^H5674 over to possess^H3423 it, is a land^H776 of hills^H2022 and valleys,^H1237 [and] drinketh^H8354 water^H4325 of the rain^H4306 of heaven,^H8064

The new wine^H8492 mourneth,^H56 the vine^H1612 languisheth,^H535 all the merry-hearted^H8056 do sigh.^H584

Even the jackals^H8577 draw out^H2502 the breast,^H7699 they give suck^H3243 to their young ones:^H1482 The daughter^H1323 of my people^H5971 is become cruel,^H393 like the ostriches^H3283 in the wilderness.^H4057

Moreover also I sware^H3027 unto^H5375 them in the wilderness,^H4057 that I would not bring^H935 them into the land^H776 which I had given^H5414 them, flowing^H2100 with milk^H2461 and honey,^H1706 which is the glory^H6643 of all lands;^H776

And it is decreed:^H5324 she is uncovered,^H1540 she is carried away;^H5927 and her handmaids^H519 moan^H5090 as with the voice^H6963 of doves,^H3123 beating^H8608 upon their breasts.^H3824
