Then David^H1732 went over^H5674 to the other side,^H5676 and stood^H5975 on the top^H7218 of the mountain^H2022 afar off;^H7350 a great^H7227 space^H4725 being between them;

Now in the first^H259 year^H8141 of Cyrus^H3566 king^H4428 of Persia,^H6539 that the word^H1697 of Jehovah^H3068 by the mouth^H6310 of Jeremiah^H3414 might be accomplished,^H3615 Jehovah^H3068 stirred up^H5782 the spirit^H7307 of Cyrus^H3566 king^H4428 of Persia,^H6539 so that he made a proclamation^H5674 throughout all his kingdom,^H4438 and [put it] also in writing,^H4385 saying,^H559

And it shall be said^H559 in that day,^H3117 Lo, this is our God;^H430 we have waited^H6960 for him, and he will save^H3467 us: this is Jehovah;^H3068 we have waited^H6960 for him, we will be glad^H1523 and rejoice^H8055 in his salvation.^H3444

Say^H559 to them that are of a fearful^H4116 heart,^H3820 Be strong,^H2388 fear^H3372 not: behold, your God^H430 will come^H935 [with] vengeance,^H5359 [with] the recompense^H1576 of God;^H430 he will come^H935 and save^H3467 you.

Hearken^H8085 unto me, ye that know^H3045 righteousness,^H6664 the people^H5971 in whose heart^H3820 is my law;^H8451 fear^H3372 ye not the reproach^H2781 of men,^H582 neither be ye dismayed^H2865 at their revilings.^H1421

Therefore my people^H5971 shall know^H3045 my name:^H8034 therefore [they shall know] in that day^H3117 that I am he that doth speak;^H1696 behold, it is I.

Behold, ye fast^H6684 for strife^H7379 and contention,^H7379 and to smite^H5221 with the fist^H106 of wickedness:^H7562 ye fast^H6684 not this day^H3117 so as to make your voice^H6963 to be heard^H8085 on high.^H4791

Go up^H5927 to Lebanon,^H3844 and cry;^H6817 and lift up^H5414 thy voice^H6963 in Bashan,^H1316 and cry^H6817 from Abarim;^H5676 for all thy lovers^H157 are destroyed.^H7665

But^G1161 Peter,^G4074 standing up^G2476 with^G4862 the eleven,^G1733 lifted up^G1869 his^G846 voice,^G5456 and^G2532 spake^G669 forth unto them,^G846 [saying], Ye men^G435 of Judaea,^G2453 and^G2532 all^G537 ye that dwell^G2730 at Jerusalem,^G2419 be^G2077 this^G5124 known^G1110 unto you,^G5213 and^G2532 give ear unto^G1801 my^G3450 words.^G4487

And^G2532 now,^G3568 Lord,^G2962 look^G1896 upon their^G846 threatenings:^G1909 and^G2532 grant^G1325 unto^G1401 thy^G4675 servants^G1401 to speak^G2980 thy^G4675 word^G3056 with^G3326 all^G3956 boldness,^G3954

But^G235 I say,^G3361 Did they^G191 not^G3756 hear?^G191 Yea, verily,^G3304 Their^G846 sound^G5353 went^G1831 out into^G1519 all^G3956 the earth,^G1093 And^G2532 their^G846 words^G4487 unto^G1519 the ends^G4009 of the world.^G3625

and^{G2532 G3361} in^G1722 nothing^G3367 affrighted^G4426 by^G5259 the adversaries:^G480 which^{G3748 G3303} is^G2076 for them^G846 an evident token^G1732 of perdition,^G684 but^G1161 of your^G5213 salvation,^G4991 and^G2532 that^G5124 from^G575 God;^G2316

But^G235 even^G2532 if^G1487 ye should suffer^G3958 for^G1223 righteousness' sake,^G1343 blessed^G3107 [are ye:] and^{G1161 G5399} fear^G5401 not^G3361 their^G846 fear,^G5401 neither^G3366 be troubled;^G5015
