Thus saith^H559 Cyrus^H3566 king^H4428 of Persia,^H6539 All the kingdoms^H4467 of the earth^H776 hath Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of heaven,^H8064 given^H5414 me; and he hath charged^H6485 me to build^H1129 him a house^H1004 in Jerusalem,^H3389 which is in Judah.^H3063

A grievous^H7186 vision^H2380 is declared^H5046 unto me; the treacherous man^H898 dealeth treacherously,^H898 and the destroyer^H7703 destroyeth.^H7703 Go up,^H5927 O Elam;^H5867 besiege,^H6696 O Media;^H4074 all the sighing^H585 thereof have I made to cease.^H7673

That saith^H559 of Cyrus,^H3566 [He is] my shepherd,^H7462 and shall perform^H7999 all my pleasure,^H2656 even saying^H559 of Jerusalem,^H3389 She shall be built;^H1129 and of the temple,^H1964 Thy foundation shall be laid.^H3245

declaring^H5046 the end^H319 from the beginning,^H7225 and from ancient times^H6924 things that are not [yet] done;^H6213 saying,^H559 My counsel^H6098 shall stand,^H6965 and I will do^H6213 all my pleasure;^H2656

Set ye up^H5375 a standard^H5251 in the land,^H776 blow^H8628 the trumpet^H7782 among the nations,^H1471 prepare^H6942 the nations^H1471 against her, call together^H8085 against her the kingdoms^H4467 of Ararat,^H780 Minni,^H4508 and Ashkenaz:^H813 appoint^H6485 a marshal^H2951 against her; cause the horses^H5483 to come up^H5927 as the rough^H5569 canker-worm.^H3218

And they shall be as mighty^H1368 men, treading down^H947 [their enemies] in the mire^H2916 of the streets^H2351 in the battle;^H4421 and they shall fight,^H3898 because Jehovah^H3068 is with them; and the riders^H7392 on horses^H5483 shall be confounded.^H3001
