For from the top^H7218 of the rocks^H6697 I see^H7200 him, And from the hills^H1389 I behold^H7789 him: lo, it is a people^H5971 that dwelleth^H7931 alone,^H910 And shall not be reckoned^H2803 among the nations.^H1471

When the Most High^H5945 gave^H5157 to the nations^H1471 their inheritance,^H5157 When he separated^H6504 the children^H1121 of men,^H120 He set^H5324 the bounds^H1367 of the peoples^H5971 According to the number^H4557 of the children^H1121 of Israel.^H3478

And it came to pass afterward,^H310 that he loved^H157 a woman^H802 in the valley^H5158 of Sorek,^H7796 whose name^H8034 was Delilah.^H1807

Hear,^H8085 O heavens,^H8064 and give ear,^H238 O earth;^H776 for Jehovah^H3068 hath spoken:^H1696 I have nourished^H1431 and brought up^H7311 children,^H1121 and they have rebelled^H6586 against me.

How is the faithful^H539 city^H7151 become a harlot!^H2181 she that was full^H4392 of justice!^H4941 righteousness^H6664 lodged^H3885 in her, but now murderers.^H7523

Wherefore art thou red^H122 in thine apparel,^H3830 and thy garments^H899 like him that treadeth^H1869 in the winevat?^H1660

Israel^H3478 is a luxuriant^H1238 vine,^H1612 that putteth forth^H7737 his fruit:^H6529 according to the abundance^H7230 of his fruit^H6529 he hath multiplied^H7235 his altars;^H4196 according to the goodness^H2896 of their land^H776 they have made goodly^H2895 [ pillars.]^H4676
