I have waited for^H6960 thy salvation,^H3444 O Jehovah.^H3068

And he said,^H559 I will hide^H5641 my face^H6440 from them, I will see^H7200 what their end^H319 shall be: For they are a very perverse^H8419 generation,^H1755 Children^H1121 in whom is no faithfulness.^H529

How^H637 much less when thou sayest^H559 thou beholdest^H7789 him not, The cause^H1779 is before^H6440 him, and thou waitest^H2342 for him!

Our soul^H5315 hath waited^H2442 for Jehovah:^H3068 He is our help^H5828 and our shield.^H4043

And now, Lord,^H136 what wait^H6960 I for? My hope^H8431 is in thee.

I wait^H6960 for Jehovah,^H3068 my soul^H5315 doth wait,^H6960 And in his word^H1697 do I hope.^H3176

And it shall be said^H559 in that day,^H3117 Lo, this is our God;^H430 we have waited^H6960 for him, and he will save^H3467 us: this is Jehovah;^H3068 we have waited^H6960 for him, we will be glad^H1523 and rejoice^H8055 in his salvation.^H3444

O Jehovah,^H3068 be gracious^H2603 unto us; we have waited^H6960 for thee: be thou our arm^H2220 every morning,^H1242 our salvation^H3444 also in the time^H6256 of trouble.^H6869

In overflowing^H8241 wrath^H7110 I hid^H5641 my face^H6440 from thee for a moment;^H7281 but with everlasting^H5769 lovingkindness^H2617 will I have mercy^H7355 on thee, saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 thy Redeemer.^H1350

but your iniquities^H5771 have separated^H914 between^H996 you and your God,^H430 and your sins^H2403 have hid^H5641 his face^H6440 from you, so that he will not hear.^H8085

For we are all become as one that is unclean,^H2931 and all our righteousnesses^H6666 are as a polluted^H5708 garment:^H899 and we all do fade^H5034 as a leaf;^H5929 and our iniquities,^H5771 like the wind,^H7307 take us away.^H5375

Jehovah^H3068 is good^H2896 unto them that wait^H6960 for him, to the soul^H5315 that seeketh^H1875 him.

Therefore turn^H7725 thou to thy God:^H430 keep^H8104 kindness^H2617 and justice,^H4941 and wait^H6960 for thy God^H430 continually.^H8548

But as for me, I will look^H6822 unto Jehovah;^H3068 I will wait^H3176 for the God^H430 of my salvation:^H3468 my God^H430 will hear^H8085 me.

And^G2532 coming up^G2186 at that^G846 very hour^G5610 she^G846 gave thanks^G437 unto God,^G2962 and^G2532 spake^G2980 of^G4012 him^G846 to all^G3956 them that were looking^G4327 for the redemption^G3085 of^G1722 Jerusalem.^G3778

And^G1161 the Lord^G2962 direct^G2720 your^G5216 hearts^G2588 into^G1519 the love^G26 of God,^G2316 and^G2532 into^G1519 the patience^G5281 of Christ.^G5547

For^G1063 ye have^G2192 need^G5532 of patience,^G5281 that,^G2443 having done^G4160 the will^G2307 of God,^G2316 ye may receive^G2865 the promise.^G1860
