If there be with thee a poor man,^H34 one^H259 of thy brethren,^H251 within any^H259 of thy gates^H8179 in thy land^H776 which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 giveth^H5414 thee, thou shalt not harden^H553 thy heart,^H3824 nor shut^H7092 thy hand^H3027 from thy poor^H34 brother;^H251

For the poor^H34 will never cease^H2308 out of^H7130 the land:^H776 therefore I command^H6680 thee, saying,^H559 Thou shalt surely^H6605 open^H6605 thy hand^H3027 unto thy brother,^H251 to thy needy,^H34 and to thy poor,^H6041 in thy land.^H776

Surely men^H120 of low degree are vanity,^H1892 and men^H376 of high degree are a lie:^H3577 In^H5927 the balances^H3976 they will go up; They are together^H3162 lighter than vanity.^H1892

Whoso mocketh^H3932 the poor^H7326 reproacheth^H2778 his Maker;^H6213 [And] he that is glad^H8056 at calamity^H343 shall not be unpunished.^H5352

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Let not the wise^H2450 man glory^H1984 in his wisdom,^H2451 neither let the mighty^H1368 man glory^H1984 in his might,^H1369 let not the rich^H6223 man glory^H1984 in his riches;^H6239

and^G2532 said^G2036 unto them,^G846 Whosoever^G3739 shall^G1437 receive^G1209 this^G5124 little child^G3813 in^G1909 my^G3450 name^G3686 receiveth^G1209 me:^G1691 and^G2532 whosoever^G3739 shall^G1437 receive^G1209 me^G1691 receiveth^G1209 him that sent^G649 me:^G3165 for^G1063 he that is^G5225 least^G3398 among^G1722 you^G5213 all,^G3956 the same^G3778 is^G5225 great.^G3173

through^G1223 whom^G3739 also^G2532 we have^G2192 had our access^G4318 by^G1223 faith^G4102 into^G1519 this^G3778 grace^G5485 wherein^G1722 we stand;^G2476 and^G2532 we rejoice^G2744 in^G1909 hope^G1680 of the glory^G1391 of God.^G2316

as^G5613 sorrowful,^G3076 yet^G1161 always^G104 rejoicing;^G5463 as^G5613 poor,^G4434 yet^G1161 making^G4148 many^G4183 rich;^G4148 as^G5613 having^G2192 nothing,^G3367 and^G2532 [yet] possessing^G2722 all things.^G3956

I press^G1377 on toward^G2596 the goal^G4649 unto^G1909 the prize^G1017 of the^G2821 high^G507 calling^G2821 of God^G2316 in^G1722 Christ^G5547 Jesus.^G2424

But^G1161 ye^G5210 are an elect^G1588 race,^G1085 a royal^G934 priesthood,^G2406 a holy^G40 nation,^G1484 a ^G1519 people^G2992 for [God's] own possession,^G4047 that^G3704 ye may show forth^G1804 the excellencies^G703 of him who called^G2564 you^G5209 out of^G1537 darkness^G4655 into^G1519 his^G846 marvellous^G2298 light:^G5457

I know^G1492 thy^{G4675 G2041 G2532} tribulation,^G2347 and^G2532 thy poverty^G4432 (but^G1161 thou art^G1488 rich),^G4145 and^G2532 the blasphemy^G988 of them that^G3588 say^G3004 they^G1438 are^G1511 Jews,^G2453 and^G2532 they^G1438 art not,^G3756 but^G235 are a synagogue^G4864 of Satan.^G4567
