Consider,^H995 ye brutish^H1197 among the people;^H5971 And ye fools,^H3684 when will ye be wise?^H7919

Upon a high^H5375 and lofty^H1364 mountain^H2022 hast thou set^H7760 thy bed;^H4904 thither also wentest thou up^H5927 to offer^H2076 sacrifice.^H2077

For of old time^H5769 I have broken^H7665 thy yoke,^H5923 and burst^H5423 thy bonds;^H4147 and thou saidst,^H559 I will not serve;^H5674 for upon every high^H1364 hill^H1389 and under every green^H7488 tree^H6086 thou didst bow thyself,^H6808 playing the harlot.^H2181

Moreover Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me in the days^H3117 of Josiah^H2977 the king,^H4428 Hast thou seen^H7200 that which backsliding^H4878 Israel^H3478 hath done?^H6213 she is gone up^H1980 upon every high^H1364 mountain^H2022 and under^H8478 every green^H7488 tree,^H6086 and there hath played the harlot.^H2181

O Jerusalem,^H3389 wash^H3526 thy heart^H3820 from wickedness,^H7451 that thou mayest be saved.^H3467 How long shall thine evil^H205 thoughts^H4284 lodge^H3885 within^H7130 thee?

They were as fed^H2109 horses^H5483 roaming at large;^H7904 every one^H376 neighed^H6670 after his neighbor's^H7453 wife.^H802

And it is come to pass after^H310 all thy wickedness,^H7451 (woe,^H188 woe^H188 unto thee! saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah,)^H3069

Ye ^{G3432 G2532} adulteresses,^G3428 know ye^G1492 not^G3756 that^G3754 the friendship^G5373 of the world^G2889 is^G2076 enmity^G2189 with God?^G2316 Whosoever^{G3739 G302} therefore^G3767 would^G1014 be^G1511 a friend^G5384 of the world^G2889 maketh^G2525 himself an enemy^G2190 of God.^G2316
