to fulfil^H4390 the word^H1697 of Jehovah^H3068 by the mouth^H6310 of Jeremiah,^H3414 until the land^H776 had enjoyed^H7521 its sabbaths:^H7676 [for] as long as^H3117 it lay desolate^H8074 it kept sabbath,^H7673 to fulfil^H4390 threescore and ten^H7657 years.^H8141

Mine eye^H5869 also hath seen^H5027 [my desire] on mine enemies,^H7790 Mine ears^H241 have heard^H8085 [my desire] of the evil-doers^H7489 that rise up^H6965 against me.

and shalt say^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts:^H6635 Even so^H3602 will I break^H7665 this people^H5971 and this city,^H5892 as one breaketh^H7665 a potter's^H3335 vessel,^H3627 that cannot^H3201 be made whole again;^H7495 and they shall bury^H6912 in Topheth,^H8612 till there be no place^H4725 to bury.^H6912

For I have set^H7760 my face^H6440 upon this city^H5892 for evil,^H7451 and not for good,^H2896 saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 it shall be given^H5414 into the hand^H3027 of the king^H4428 of Babylon,^H894 and he shall burn^H8313 it with fire.^H784

Only know^H3045 ye for certain^H3045 that, if ye put me to death,^H4191 ye will bring^H5414 innocent^H5355 blood^H1818 upon yourselves, and upon this city,^H5892 and upon the inhabitants^H3427 thereof; for of a truth^H571 Jehovah^H3068 hath sent^H7971 me unto you to speak^H1696 all these words^H1697 in your ears.^H241

And there was also a man^H376 that prophesied^H5012 in the name^H8034 of Jehovah,^H3068 Uriah^H223 the son^H1121 of Shemaiah^H8098 of Kiriath-jearim;^H7157 and he prophesied^H5012 against this city^H5892 and against this land^H776 according to all the words^H1697 of Jeremiah:^H3414

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 Go,^H1980 and speak^H559 to Zedekiah^H6667 king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 and tell^H559 him, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will give^H5414 this city^H5892 into the hand^H3027 of the king^H4428 of Babylon,^H894 and he shall burn^H8313 it with fire:^H784

therefore thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel:^H3478 Behold, I will bring^H935 upon Judah^H3063 and upon all the inhabitants^H3427 of Jerusalem^H3389 all the evil^H7451 that I have pronounced^H1696 against them; because I have spoken^H1696 unto them, but they have not heard;^H8085 and I have called^H7121 unto them, but they have not answered.^H6030

Now when Ebed-melech^H5663 the Ethiopian,^H3569 a^H376 eunuch,^H5631 who was in the king's^H4428 house,^H1004 heard^H8085 that they had put^H5414 Jeremiah^H3414 in the dungeon^H953 (the king^H4428 then sitting^H3427 in the gate^H8179 of Benjamin,)^H1144

And they that escape^H6412 the sword^H2719 shall return out^H7725 of the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 into the land^H776 of Judah,^H3063 few^H4962 in number;^H4557 and all the remnant^H7611 of Judah,^H3063 that are gone^H935 into the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 to sojourn^H1481 there, shall know^H3045 whose word^H1697 shall stand,^H6965 mine, or theirs.

But my words^H1697 and my statutes,^H2706 which I commanded^H6680 my servants^H5650 the prophets,^H5030 did they not overtake^H5381 your fathers?^H1 and they turned^H7725 and said,^H559 Like as Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 thought^H2161 to do^H6213 unto us, according to our ways,^H1870 and according to our doings,^H4611 so hath he dealt^H6213 with us.
