And he burnt^H8313 the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 and the king's^H4428 house;^H1004 and all the houses^H1004 of Jerusalem,^H3389 even every great^H1419 house,^H1004 burnt^H8313 he with fire.^H784

And they said^H559 unto me, The remnant^H7604 that are left^H7604 of the captivity^H7628 there in the province^H4082 are in great^H1419 affliction^H7451 and reproach:^H2781 the wall^H2346 of Jerusalem^H3389 also is broken down,^H6555 and the gates^H8179 thereof are burned^H3341 with fire.^H784

Go ye up^H5927 upon her walls,^H8284 and destroy;^H7843 but make^H6213 not a full end:^H3617 take away^H5493 her branches;^H5189 for they are not Jehovah's.^H3068

For the mountains^H2022 will I take up^H5375 a weeping^H1065 and wailing,^H5092 and for the pastures^H4999 of the wilderness^H4057 a lamentation,^H7015 because they are burned up,^H3341 so that none^H376 passeth^H5674 through; neither can men hear^H8085 the voice^H6963 of the cattle;^H4735 both the birds^H5775 of the heavens^H8064 and the beasts^H929 are fled,^H5074 they are gone.^H1980

For I have set^H7760 my face^H6440 upon this city^H5892 for evil,^H7451 and not for good,^H2896 saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 it shall be given^H5414 into the hand^H3027 of the king^H4428 of Babylon,^H894 and he shall burn^H8313 it with fire.^H784

Behold, I will command,^H6680 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and cause them to return^H7725 to this city;^H5892 and they shall fight^H3898 against it, and take^H3920 it, and burn^H8313 it with fire:^H784 and I will make^H5414 the cities^H5892 of Judah^H3063 a desolation,^H8077 without inhabitant.^H3427

But if thou wilt not go forth^H3318 to the king^H4428 of Babylon's^H894 princes,^H8269 then shall this city^H5892 be given^H5414 into the hand^H3027 of the Chaldeans,^H3778 and they shall burn^H8313 it with fire,^H784 and thou shalt not escape out^H4422 of their hand.^H3027

The adversary^H6862 hath spread out^H6566 his hand^H3027 upon all her pleasant things:^H4261 For she hath seen^H7200 that the nations^H1471 are entered^H935 into her sanctuary,^H4720 Concerning whom thou didst command^H6680 that they should not enter^H935 into thine assembly.^H6951

The Lord^H136 hath cast off^H2186 his altar,^H4196 he hath abhorred^H5010 his sanctuary;^H4720 He hath given up^H5462 into the hand^H3027 of the enemy^H341 the walls^H2346 of her palaces:^H759 They have made^H5414 a noise^H6963 in the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 as in the day^H3117 of a solemn assembly.^H4150

Therefore shall Zion^H6726 for your sake^H1558 be plowed^H2790 as a field,^H7704 and Jerusalem^H3389 shall become heaps,^H5856 and the mountain^H2022 of the house^H1004 as the high places^H1116 of a forest.^H3293
