The earth^H776 shall be utterly^H1238 emptied,^H1238 and utterly^H962 laid waste;^H962 for Jehovah^H3068 hath spoken^H1696 this word.^H1697

How long shall the land^H776 mourn,^H56 and the herbs^H6212 of the whole country^H7704 wither?^H3001 for the wickedness^H7451 of them that dwell^H3427 therein, the beasts^H929 are consumed,^H5595 and the birds;^H5775 because they said,^H559 He shall not see^H7200 our latter end.^H319

Judah^H3063 mourneth,^H56 and the gates^H8179 thereof languish,^H535 they sit in black^H6937 upon the ground;^H776 and the cry^H6682 of Jerusalem^H3389 is gone up.^H5927

Therefore shall the land^H776 mourn,^H56 and every one that dwelleth^H3427 therein shall languish,^H535 with the beasts^H2416 of the field^H7704 and the birds^H5775 of the heavens;^H8064 yea, the fishes^H1709 of the sea^H3220 also shall be taken away.^H622

Awake,^H6974 ye drunkards,^H7910 and weep;^H1058 and wail,^H3213 all ye drinkers^H8354 of wine,^H3196 because of the sweet wine;^H6071 for it is cut off^H3772 from your mouth.^H6310

The seeds^H6507 rot^H5685 under their clods;^H4053 the garners^H214 are laid desolate,^H8074 the barns^H4460 are broken down;^H2040 for the grain^H1715 is withered.^H3001

Behold, I will rebuke^H1605 your seed,^H2233 and will spread^H2219 dung^H6569 upon your faces,^H6440 even the dung^H6569 of your feasts;^H2282 and ye shall be taken away^H5375 with it.
