Surely^H403 he hath borne^H5375 our griefs,^H2483 and carried^H5445 our sorrows;^H4341 yet we did esteem^H2803 him stricken,^H5060 smitten^H5221 of God,^H430 and afflicted.^H6031

Yet it pleased^H2654 Jehovah^H3068 to bruise^H1792 him; he hath put him to grief:^H2470 when thou shalt make^H7760 his soul^H5315 an offering for sin,^H817 he shall see^H7200 [his] seed,^H2233 he shall prolong^H748 his days,^H3117 and the pleasure^H2656 of Jehovah^H3068 shall prosper^H6743 in his hand.^H3027

Awake,^H5782 O sword,^H2719 against my shepherd,^H7462 and against the man^H1397 that is my fellow,^H5997 saith^H5002 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts:^H6635 smite^H5221 the shepherd,^H7462 and the sheep^H6629 shall be scattered;^H6327 and I will turn^H7725 my hand^H3027 upon the little ones.^H6819

even as^G5618 the Son^G5207 of man^G444 came^G2064 not^G3756 to be ministered unto,^G1247 but^G235 to minister,^G1247 and^G2532 to give^G1325 his^G846 life^G5590 a ransom^G3083 for^G473 many.^G4183

No man^G3762 hath seen^G3708 God^G2316 at any time;^G4455 the only begotten^G3439 Son,^G5207 who^G3588 is^G5607 in^G1519 the bosom^G2859 of the Father,^G3962 he^G1565 hath declared^G1834 [him].

and^G2532 ye have^G1097 not^G3756 known^G1097 him:^G846 but^G1161 I^G1473 know^G1492 him;^G846 and^G2532 if^G1437 I should say,^G3754 I know^G1492 him^G846 not,^G3756 I shall be^G2071 like^G3664 unto you,^G5216 a liar:^G5583 but^G235 I know^G1492 him,^G846 and^G2532 keep^G5083 his^G846 word.^G3056

Therefore^G1223 doth^G25 the Father^G3962 love^G25 me,^G3165 because^G3754 I^G1473 lay down^G5087 my^G3450 life,^G5590 that^G2443 I may take^G2983 it^G846 again.^G5124

O righteous^G1342 Father,^G2532 the world^{G2889 G1097} knew^G1097 thee^G4571 not,^G3756 but^G1161 I^G1473 knew^G1097 thee;^G4571 and^G2532 these^G3778 knew^G1097 that^G3754 thou^G4771 didst send^G649 me;^G3165

For^G1063 there is one^G1520 God,^{G2316 G2532} one^G1520 mediator^G3316 also between God^G2316 and^G2532 men,^G444 [himself] man,^G444 Christ^G5547 Jesus,^G2424

who^G3739 his own^G846 self^G846 bare^G399 our^G2257 sins^G266 in^G1722 his body^G4983 upon^G1909 the tree,^G3586 that^G2443 we,^G2198 having died^G581 unto sins,^G266 might live^G2198 unto righteousness;^G1343 by^G3739 whose^G846 stripes^G3468 ye were healed.^G2390

and^G2532 he^G846 is^G2076 the propitiation^G2434 for^G4012 our^G2257 sins;^G266 and^G1161 not^G3756 for^G4012 ours^G2251 only,^G3440 but^G235 also^G2532 for^G4012 the^G2889 whole^G3650 world.^G2889
