Who hath believed^H539 our message?^H8052 and to whom hath the arm^H2220 of Jehovah^H3068 been revealed?^H1540

I have spread out^H6566 my hands^H3027 all the day^H3117 unto a rebellious^H5637 people,^H5971 that walk^H1980 in a way^H1870 that is not good,^H2896 after^H310 their own thoughts;^H4284

O Jerusalem,^G2419 Jerusalem,^G2419 that killeth^G615 the prophets,^G4396 and^G2532 stoneth^G3036 them that are sent^G649 unto^G4314 her!^G846 how often^G4212 would I have^G2309 gathered^G1996 thy^G4675 children^G5043 together,^G1996 even^G3739 as^G5158 a hen^G3733 gathereth^G1996 her^G1438 chickens^G3556 under^G5259 her wings,^G4420 and^G2532 ye would^G2309 not!^G3756

He came^G2064 unto^G1519 his own,^G2398 and^G2532 they that were his own^G2398 received^G3880 him^G846 not.^G3756

Jesus^G2424 answered^G611 and^G2532 said^G2036 unto him,^G846 Verily,^G281 verily,^G281 I say^G3004 unto thee,^G1437 Except^G3361 one^G5100 be born^G1080 anew,^G509 he cannot^{G3756 G1410} see^G1492 the kingdom^G932 of God.^G2316

And^G2532 no one^G3762 hath ascended^G305 into^G1519 heaven,^G1487 but^G3361 he that^G3588 descended^G2597 out^G1537 of heaven,^G3772 [even] the Son^G5207 of man,^G444 who is^G5607 in^G1722 heaven.^G3772

If^G1437 I^G1473 bear witness^G3140 of^G4012 myself,^G1683 my^G3450 witness^G3141 is^G2076 not^G3756 true.^G227

Jesus^G2424 therefore answered^G611 them^G846 and^G2532 said,^G2036 My^G1699 teaching^G1322 is^G2076 not^G3756 mine,^G1699 but^G235 his that sent^G3992 me.^G3165

Jesus^G2424 therefore^G3767 said,^G2036 When^G3752 ye have lifted up^G5312 the Son^G5207 of man,^G444 then^G5119 shall ye know^G1097 that^G3754 I^G1473 am^G1510 [he], and^G2532 [that]^G3754 I do^G4160 nothing^G3762 of^G575 myself,^G1683 but^G235 as^G2531 the^G3450 Father^G3962 taught^G1321 me,^G3165 I speak^G2980 these things.^G5023

But^G1161 though^G4160 he^G846 had done^G4160 so many^G5118 signs^G4592 before^G1715 them,^G846 yet they believed^G4100 not^G3756 on^G1519 him:^G846

He that^G3588 loveth^G25 me^G3165 not^G3361 keepeth^G5083 not^G3756 my^G3450 words:^G3056 and^G2532 the word^G3056 which^G3739 ye hear^G191 is^G2076 not^G3756 mine,^G1699 but^G235 the Father's^G3962 who sent^G3992 me.^G3165

And^G1161 when they had appointed^G5021 him^G846 a day,^G2250 they came^G2240 to^G4314 him^G846 into^G1519 his lodging^G3578 in great number;^G4119 to whom^G3739 he expounded^G1620 [the matter,] testifying^G1263 the kingdom^G932 of God,^G2316 and^G5037 persuading^G3982 them^G846 concerning^G4012 Jesus,^G2424 both^G5037 from^G575 the law^G3551 of Moses^G3475 and^G2532 from the prophets,^G4396 from^G575 morning^G4404 till^G2193 evening.^G2073

That which^G3739 was^G2258 from^G575 the beginning,^G746 that which^G3739 we have heard,^G191 that which^G3739 we have seen with^G3708 our^G2257 eyes,^G3788 that which^G3739 we beheld,^G2300 and^G2532 our^G2257 hands^G5495 handled,^G5584 concerning^G4012 the Word^G3056 of life^G2222

and^G2532 from^G575 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 [who is] the faithful^G4103 witness,^G3144 the firstborn^G4416 of^G1537 the dead,^G3498 and^G2532 the ruler^G758 of the kings^G935 of the earth.^G1093 Unto him that loveth^G25 us,^G2248 and^G2532 loosed^G3068 us^G2248 from^G575 our^G2257 sins^G266 by^G1722 his^G846 blood;^G129
