But God^H430 came^H935 to Abimelech^H40 in a dream^H2472 of the night,^H3915 and said^H559 to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man,^H4191 because of the woman^H802 whom thou hast taken;^H3947 for she is a man's^H1167 wife.^H1166

And the sons^H1121 of Jacob^H3290 came^H935 in from the field^H7704 when they heard^H8085 it: and the men^H582 were grieved,^H6087 and they were very^H3966 wroth,^H2734 because he had wrought^H6213 folly^H5039 in Israel^H3478 in lying^H7901 with Jacob's^H3290 daughter;^H1323 which thing ought not to be done.^H6213

This is the law^H8451 of jealousy,^H7068 when a wife,^H802 being under her husband,^H376 goeth aside,^H7847 and is defiled;^H2930

Surely^H403 as a wife^H802 treacherously^H898 departeth from her husband,^H7453 so have ye dealt treacherously^H898 with me, O house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Wherefore, O harlot,^H2181 hear^H8085 the word^H1697 of Jehovah:^H3068
