And it shall be, when he sitteth^H3427 upon the throne^H3678 of his kingdom,^H4467 that he shall write^H3789 him a copy^H4932 of this law^H8451 in a book,^H5612 out of [that which is] before^H6440 the priests^H3548 the Levites:^H3881

I will raise them up^H6965 a prophet^H5030 from among^H7130 their brethren,^H251 like unto thee; and I will put^H5414 my words^H1697 in his mouth,^H6310 and he shall speak^H1696 unto them all that I shall command^H6680 him.

This book^H5612 of the law^H8451 shall not depart^H4185 out of thy mouth,^H6310 but thou shalt meditate^H1897 thereon day^H3119 and night,^H3915 that thou mayest observe^H8104 to do^H6213 according to all that is written^H3789 therein: for then thou shalt make^H6743 thy way^H1870 prosperous,^H6743 and then thou shalt have good success.^H7919

Thou wilt show^H3045 me the path^H734 of life:^H2416 In thy presence^H6440 is fulness^H7648 of joy;^H8057 In thy right hand^H3225 there are pleasures^H5273 for evermore.^H5331

For with thee is the fountain^H4726 of life:^H2416 In thy light^H216 shall we see^H7200 light.^H216

MEM. Oh how love I^H157 thy law!^H8451 It is my meditation^H7881 all the day.^H3117

For the commandment^H4687 is a lamp;^H5216 And the law^H8451 is light;^H216 And reproofs^H8433 of instruction^H4148 are the way^H1870 of life:^H2416

To the law^H8451 and to the testimony!^H8584 if they speak^H559 not according to this word,^H1697 surely there is no morning^H7837 for them.

The wise^H2450 men are put to shame,^H3001 they are dismayed^H2865 and taken:^H3920 lo, they have rejected^H3988 the word^H1697 of Jehovah;^H3068 and what manner of wisdom^H2451 is in them?

And^G2532 behold,^G2400 one^G1520 came^G4334 to him^G846 and said,^G2036 Teacher,^G1320 what^G5101 good^G18 thing^G18 shall I do,^G4160 that^G2443 I may have^G2192 eternal^G166 life?^G2222

And^G1161 he answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them,^G846 What^G5101 did^G1781 Moses^G3475 command^G1781 you?^G5213

And^G2532 behold,^G2400 a certain^G5100 lawyer^G3544 stood up^G450 and^G2532 made trial^G1598 of him,^G846 saying,^G3004 Teacher,^G1320 what^G5101 shall I do^G4160 to inherit^G2816 eternal^G166 life?^G2222

And^G1161 he said^G2036 unto him,^G846 If^G1487 they hear^G191 not^G3756 Moses^G3475 and^G2532 the prophets,^G4396 neither^G3761 will they be persuaded,^G3982 if^G1437 one^G5100 rise^G450 from^G1537 the dead.^G3498

And^G1161 he said^G2036 unto them,^G846 These^G3778 are my words^G3056 which^G3739 I spake^G2980 unto^G4314 you,^G5209 while I was^G5607 yet^G2089 with^G4862 you,^G5213 that^G3754 all things^G3956 must needs be^G1163 fulfilled,^G4137 which^G3588 are written^G1125 in^G1722 the law^G3551 of Moses,^G3475 and^G2532 the prophets,^G4396 and^G2532 the psalms,^G5568 concerning^G4012 me.^G1700

It is^G2076 another^G243 that beareth witness^G3140 of^G4012 me;^G1700 and^G2532 I know^G1492 that^G3754 the witness^G3141 which^G3739 he witnesseth^G3140 of^G4012 me^G1700 is^G2076 true.^G227

For^G1063 if^G1487 ye believed^G4100 Moses,^G3475 ye would believe^{G4100 G302} me;^G1698 for^G1063 he^G1565 wrote^G1125 of^G4012 me.^G1700

Now the passage^G4042 of the Scripture^G1124 which^G3739 he was reading^G314 was^G2258 this,^G3778 He was led^G71 as^G5613 a sheep^G4263 to^G1909 the slaughter;^G4967 And^G2532 as^G5613 a lamb^G286 before^G1726 his^G846 shearer^G2751 is dumb,^G880 So^G3779 he^G455 openeth not^G3756 his^G846 mouth:^G4750

Now these^G3778 were^G2258 more noble^G2104 than those^G3588 in^G1722 Thessalonica,^G2332 in that^G3748 they received^G1209 the word^G3056 with^G3326 all^G3956 readiness of the mind,^G4288 examining^G350 the Scriptures^{G1124 G2596} daily,^G2250 whether^G1487 these things^G5023 were^G2192 so.^G3779

King^G935 Agrippa,^G67 believest thou^G4100 the prophets?^G4396 I know^G1492 that^G3754 thou believest.^G4100

But^G1492 if thou^G4771 bearest the name^G2028 of a Jew,^G2453 and^G2532 restest^G1879 upon the law,^G3551 and^G2532 gloriest^G2744 in^G1722 God,^G2316

Let^G1774 the word^G3056 of Christ^G5547 dwell^G1774 in^G1722 you^G5213 richly;^G4146 in^G1722 all^G3956 wisdom^G4678 teaching^G1321 and^G2532 admonishing^G3560 one another^G1438 with psalms^G5568 [and]^G2532 hymns^G5215 [and]^G2532 spiritual^G4152 songs,^G5603 singing^G103 with^G1722 grace^G5485 in^G1722 your^G5216 hearts^G2588 unto God.^G2962

But^G1161 now^G3570 they desire^G3713 a better^G2909 [country], that^G5124 is,^G2076 a heavenly:^G2032 wherefore^G1352 God^G2316 is^G1870 not^G3756 ashamed^G1870 of them,^G846 to be called^G1941 their^G846 God;^G2316 for^G1063 he hath prepared^G2090 for them^G846 a city.^G4172

Concerning^G4012 which^G3739 salvation^G4991 the prophets^G4396 sought^G1567 and^G2532 searched diligently,^G1830 who prophesied^G4395 of^G4012 the grace^G5485 that [should come] unto^G1519 you:^G5209
