And Jacob^H3290 asked^H7592 him, and said,^H559 Tell^H5046 me, I pray thee, thy name.^H8034 And he said,^H559 Wherefore is it^H2088 that thou dost ask^H7592 after my name?^H8034 And he blessed^H1288 him there.

Moreover he said,^H559 I am the God^H430 of thy father,^H1 the God^H430 of Abraham,^H85 the God^H430 of Isaac,^H3327 and the God^H430 of Jacob.^H3290 And Moses^H4872 hid^H5641 his face;^H6440 for he was afraid^H3372 to look^H5027 upon God.^H430

Then the children^H1121 of Judah^H3063 drew^H5066 nigh unto Joshua^H3091 in Gilgal:^H1537 and Caleb^H3612 the son^H1121 of Jephunneh^H3312 the Kenizzite^H7074 said^H559 unto him, Thou knowest^H3045 the thing^H1697 that Jehovah^H3068 spake^H1696 unto Moses^H4872 the man^H376 of God^H430 concerning me^H182 and concerning thee^H182 in Kadesh-barnea.^H6947

And Manoah^H4495 said^H559 unto the angel^H4397 of Jehovah,^H3068 What is thy name,^H8034 that, when thy words^H1697 come to pass,^H935 we may do thee honor?^H3513

And there came^H935 a man^H376 of God^H430 unto Eli,^H5941 and said^H559 unto him, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Did I reveal^H1540 myself^H1540 unto the house^H1004 of thy father,^H1 when they were in Egypt^H4714 in bondage to Pharaoh's^H6547 house?^H1004

And she said^H559 unto Elijah,^H452 What have I to do with thee, O thou man^H376 of God?^H430 thou art come^H935 unto me to bring^H2142 my sin^H5771 to remembrance,^H2142 and to slay^H4191 my son!^H1121

And she said^H559 unto her husband,^H376 Behold now, I perceive^H3045 that this is a holy^H6918 man^H376 of God,^H430 that passeth^H5674 by us continually.^H8548

So he came^H935 near^H681 where I stood;^H5977 and when he came,^H935 I was affrighted,^H1204 and fell^H5307 upon my face:^H6440 but he said^H559 unto me, Understand,^H995 O son^H1121 of man;^H120 for the vision^H2377 belongeth to the time^H6256 of the end.^H7093

And he said^H559 unto me, O Daniel,^H1840 thou man^H376 greatly beloved,^H2532 understand^H995 the words^H1697 that I speak^H1696 unto thee, and stand^H5975 upright;^H5977 for unto thee am I now sent.^H7971 And when he had spoken^H1696 this word^H1697 unto me, I stood^H5975 trembling.^H7460

And^G2532 the angel^G32 answering^G611 said^G2036 unto him,^G846 I^G1473 am^G1510 Gabriel,^G1043 that^G3588 stand^G3936 in the presence^G1799 of God;^G2316 and^G2532 I was sent^G649 to speak^G2980 unto^G4314 thee,^G4571 and^G2532 to bring^G2097 thee^G4671 these^G5023 good tidings.^G2097

And^G2532 all^G537 that sat^G2516 in^G1722 the council,^G4892 fastening^G816 their eyes on^G1519 him,^G846 saw^G1492 his^G846 face^G4383 as it had been^G5616 the face^G4383 of an angel.^G32

And^G2532 when^G3753 I saw^G1492 him,^G846 I fell^G4098 at^G4314 his^G846 feet^G4228 as^G5613 one dead.^G3498 And^G2532 he laid^G2007 his^G846 right^G1188 hand^G5495 upon^G1909 me,^G1691 saying,^{G3004 G3427} Fear^G5399 not;^G3361 I^G1473 am^G1510 the first^G4413 and^G2532 the last,^G2078
