And her gates^H6607 shall lament^H578 and mourn;^H56 and she shall be desolate^H5352 and sit^H3427 upon the ground.^H776

Rise up,^H6965 ye women^H802 that are at ease,^H7600 [and] hear^H8085 my voice;^H6963 ye careless^H982 daughters,^H1323 give ear^H238 unto my speech.^H565

The voice^H6963 of tidings,^H8052 behold, it cometh,^H935 and a great^H1419 commotion^H7494 out of the north^H6828 country,^H776 to make^H7760 the cities^H5892 of Judah^H3063 a desolation,^H8077 a dwelling-place^H4583 of jackals.^H8577

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Yet again there shall be heard^H8085 in this place,^H4725 whereof ye say,^H559 It is waste,^H2720 without man^H120 and without beast,^H929 even in the cities^H5892 of Judah,^H3063 and in the streets^H2351 of Jerusalem,^H3389 that are desolate,^H8074 without man^H120 and without inhabitant^H3427 and without beast,^H929

Jehovah^H3068 is righteous;^H6662 for I have rebelled^H4784 against his commandment:^H6310 Hear,^H8085 I pray you, all ye peoples,^H5971 and behold^H7200 my sorrow:^H4341 My virgins^H1330 and my young men^H970 are gone^H1980 into captivity.^H7628

Her gates^H8179 are sunk^H2883 into the ground;^H776 he hath destroyed^H6 and broken^H7665 her bars:^H1280 Her king^H4428 and her princes^H8269 are among the nations^H1471 where the law^H8451 is not; Yea, her prophets^H5030 find^H4672 no vision^H2377 from Jehovah.^H3068

The young men^H970 bare^H5375 the mill;^H2911 And the children^H5288 stumbled^H3782 under the wood.^H6086

And I will visit^H6485 upon her the days^H3117 of the Baalim,^H1168 unto which she burned incense,^H6999 when she decked^H5710 herself with her ear-rings^H5141 and her jewels,^H2484 and went^H3212 after^H310 her lovers,^H157 and forgat^H7911 me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Therefore shall Zion^H6726 for your sake^H1558 be plowed^H2790 as a field,^H7704 and Jerusalem^H3389 shall become heaps,^H5856 and the mountain^H2022 of the house^H1004 as the high places^H1116 of a forest.^H3293
