And Cain^H7014 said^H559 unto Jehovah,^H3068 My punishment^H5771 is greater^H1419 than I can bear.^H5375

The land^H776 also shall be left^H5800 by them, and shall enjoy^H7521 its sabbaths,^H7676 while it lieth desolate^H8074 without them: and they shall accept^H7521 of the punishment of their iniquity;^H5771 because,^H3282 even because^H3282 they rejected^H3988 mine ordinances,^H4941 and their soul^H5315 abhorred^H1602 my statutes.^H2708

But on the morrow^H4283 all the congregation^H5712 of the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 murmured^H3885 against Moses^H4872 and against Aaron,^H175 saying,^H559 Ye have killed^H4191 the people^H5971 of Jehovah.^H3068

And Joshua^H3091 rent^H7167 his clothes,^H8071 and fell^H5307 to the earth^H776 upon his face^H6440 before^H6440 the ark^H727 of Jehovah^H3068 until the evening,^H6153 he and the elders^H2205 of Israel;^H3478 and they put^H5927 dust^H6083 upon their heads.^H7218

And Elisha^H477 said^H559 unto the king^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 What have I to do with thee? get^H3212 thee to the prophets^H5030 of thy father,^H1 and to the prophets^H5030 of thy mother.^H517 And the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 said^H559 unto him, Nay; for Jehovah^H3068 hath called^H7121 these three^H7969 kings^H4428 together^H7121 to deliver^H5414 them into the hand^H3027 of Moab.^H4124

And while he was yet talking^H1696 with them, behold, the messenger^H4397 came down^H3381 unto him: and he said,^H559 Behold, this evil^H7451 is of Jehovah;^H3068 why should I wait^H3176 for Jehovah^H3068 any longer?

And that he would show^H5046 thee the secrets^H8587 of wisdom!^H2451 For he is manifold^H3718 in understanding.^H8454 Know^H3045 therefore that God^H433 exacteth^H5382 of thee less than thine iniquity^H5771 deserveth.

The foolishness^H200 of man^H120 subverteth^H5557 his way;^H1870 And his heart^H3820 fretteth^H2196 against Jehovah.^H3068

Thy sons^H1121 have fainted,^H5968 they lie^H7901 at the head^H7218 of all the streets,^H2351 as an antelope^H8377 in a net;^H4364 they are full^H4392 of the wrath^H2534 of Jehovah,^H3068 the rebuke^H1606 of thy God.^H430

Why criest^H2199 thou for thy hurt?^H7667 thy pain^H4341 is incurable:^H605 for the greatness^H7230 of thine iniquity,^H5771 because thy sins^H2403 were increased,^H6105 I have done^H6213 these things unto thee.

For thou didst cast^H7993 me into the depth,^H4688 in the heart^H3824 of the seas,^H3220 And the flood^H5104 was round^H5437 about me; All thy waves^H1530 and thy billows^H4867 passed over^H5674 me.

I will bear^H5375 the indignation^H2197 of Jehovah,^H3068 because I have sinned^H2398 against him, until he plead^H7378 my cause,^H7379 and execute^H6213 judgment^H4941 for me: he will bring me forth^H3318 to the light,^H216 [and] I shall behold^H7200 his righteousness.^H6666

And^G2532 men^G444 were scorched^G2739 with great^G3173 heat:^G2738 and^G2532 they blasphemed^G987 the name^G3686 of God^G2316 who^G3588 hath^G2192 the power^G1849 over^G1909 these^G3778 plagues;^G4127 and^G2532 they repented^G3340 not^G3756 to give^G1325 him^G846 glory.^G1391
