Thou shalt not oppress^H6231 thy neighbor,^H7453 nor rob^H1497 him: the wages^H6468 of a hired^H7916 servant shall not abide^H3885 with thee all night until the morning.^H1242

Thou shalt not wrest^H5186 justice:^H4941 thou shalt not respect^H5234 persons;^H6440 neither shalt thou take^H3947 a bribe;^H7810 for a bribe^H7810 doth blind^H5786 the eyes^H5869 of the wise,^H2450 and pervert^H5557 the words^H1697 of the righteous.^H6662

Here I am: witness^H6030 against me before Jehovah,^H3068 and before his anointed:^H4899 whose ox^H7794 have I taken?^H3947 or whose ass^H2543 have I taken?^H3947 or whom have I defrauded?^H6231 whom have I oppressed?^H7533 or of whose hand^H3027 have I taken a ransom^H3724 to blind^H5956 mine eyes^H5869 therewith? and I will restore^H7725 it you.

Behold, we are servants^H5650 this day,^H3117 and as for the land^H776 that thou gavest^H5414 unto our fathers^H1 to eat^H398 the fruit^H6529 thereof and the good^H2898 thereof, behold, we are servants^H5650 in it.

To judge^H8199 the fatherless^H3490 and the oppressed,^H1790 That man^H582 who is of the earth^H776 may be terrible^H6206 no more.^H3254

Whoso stoppeth^H331 his ears^H241 at the cry^H2201 of the poor,^H1800 He also shall cry,^H7121 but shall not be heard.^H6030

A needy^H7326 man^H1397 that oppresseth^H6231 the poor^H1800 Is [like] a sweeping^H5502 rain^H4306 which leaveth no food.^H3899

The prince^H5057 that lacketh^H2638 understanding^H8394 is also a great^H7227 oppressor;^H4642 [But] he that hateth^H8130 covetousness^H1215 shall prolong^H748 his days.^H3117

learn^H3925 to do well;^H3190 seek^H1875 justice,^H4941 relieve^H833 the oppressed,^H2541 judge^H8199 the fatherless,^H3490 plead^H7378 for the widow.^H490

Jehovah^H3068 will enter^H935 into judgment^H4941 with the elders^H2205 of his people,^H5971 and the princes^H8269 thereof: It is ye that have eaten up^H1197 the vineyard;^H3754 the spoil^H1500 of the poor^H6041 is in your houses:^H1004

He that walketh^H1980 righteously,^H6666 and speaketh^H1696 uprightly;^H4339 he that despiseth^H3988 the gain^H1215 of oppressions,^H4642 that shaketh^H5287 his hands^H3709 from taking^H8551 a bribe,^H7810 that stoppeth^H331 his ears^H241 from hearing^H8085 of blood,^H1818 and shutteth^H6105 his eyes^H5869 from looking^H7200 upon evil:^H7451

But thine eyes^H5869 and thy heart^H3820 are not but for thy covetousness,^H1215 and for shedding^H8210 innocent^H5355 blood,^H1818 and for oppression,^H6233 and for violence,^H4835 to do^H6213 it.

In thee have they taken^H3947 bribes^H7810 to shed^H8210 blood;^H1818 thou hast taken^H3947 interest^H5392 and increase,^H8636 and thou hast greedily gained^H1214 of thy neighbors^H7453 by oppression,^H6233 and hast forgotten^H7911 me, saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

Hear^H8085 this, O ye that would swallow up^H7602 the needy,^H34 and cause^H7673 the poor^H6041 of the land^H776 to fail,^H7673

Are there^H786 yet treasures^H214 of wickedness^H7562 in the house^H1004 of the wicked,^H7563 and a scant^H7332 measure^H374 that is abominable?^H2194

Come^G71 now,^G3568 ye rich,^G4145 weep^G2799 and howl^G3649 for^G1909 your^G5216 miseries^G5004 that are coming upon^G1904 you.
