And a sojourner^H1616 shalt thou not oppress:^H3905 for ye know^H3045 the heart^H5315 of a sojourner,^H1616 seeing^H3588 ye were sojourners^H1616 in the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

If thy brother^H251 be waxed poor,^H4134 and sell^H4376 some of his possession,^H272 then shall his kinsman^H7138 that is next unto him come,^H935 and shall redeem^H1350 that which his brother^H251 hath sold.^H4465

If there be with thee a poor man,^H34 one^H259 of thy brethren,^H251 within any^H259 of thy gates^H8179 in thy land^H776 which Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 giveth^H5414 thee, thou shalt not harden^H553 thy heart,^H3824 nor shut^H7092 thy hand^H3027 from thy poor^H34 brother;^H251

Thou shalt not oppress^H6231 a hired servant^H7916 that is poor^H6041 and needy,^H34 whether he be of thy brethren,^H251 or of thy sojourners^H1616 that are in thy land^H776 within thy gates:^H8179

If I have withheld^H4513 the poor^H1800 from [their] desire,^H2656 Or have caused the eyes^H5869 of the widow^H490 to fail,^H3615

For^G1063 as touching^{G4012 G3303} the ministering^G1248 to^G1519 the saints,^G40 it is^G2076 superfluous^G4053 for me^G3427 to write^G1125 to you:^G5213

only^G3440 [they would] that^G2443 we should remember^G3421 the poor;^G4434 which^G3739 very^G846 thing^G5124 I was also^G2532 zealous^G4704 to do.^G4160

Hearken,^G191 my^G3450 beloved^G27 brethren;^G80 did^G1586 not^G3756 God^G2316 choose^G1586 them that are poor^G4434 as to the^G5127 world^G2889 [to be] rich^G4145 in^G1722 faith,^G4102 and^G2532 heirs^G2818 of the kingdom^G932 which^G3739 he promised^G1861 to them that^G3588 love^G25 him?^G846
