If a man^H376 have two^H8147 wives,^H802 the one^H259 beloved,^H157 and the other^H259 hated,^H8130 and they have borne^H3205 him children,^H1121 both the beloved^H157 and the hated;^H8130 and if the first-born^H1060 son^H1121 be hers that was hated;^H8146

And the streams^H5158 of [Edom] shall be turned^H2015 into pitch,^H2203 and the dust^H6083 thereof into brimstone,^H1614 and the land^H776 thereof shall become burning^H1197 pitch.^H2203

And the wild beasts of the desert^H6728 shall meet^H6298 with the wolves,^H338 and the wild goat^H8163 shall cry^H7121 to his fellow;^H7453 yea, the night-monster^H3917 shall settle^H7280 there, and shall find^H4672 her a place of rest.^H7280

And I will make^H5414 Jerusalem^H3389 heaps,^H1530 a dwelling-place^H4583 of jackals;^H8577 and I will make^H5414 the cities^H5892 of Judah^H3063 a desolation,^H8077 without inhabitant.^H3427

But I have made Esau^H6215 bare,^H2834 I have uncovered^H1540 his secret places,^H4565 and he shall not be able^H3201 to hide^H2247 himself: his seed^H2233 is destroyed,^H7703 and his brethren,^H251 and his neighbors;^H7934 and he is not.

And Babylon^H894 shall become heaps,^H1530 a dwelling-place^H4583 for jackals,^H8577 an astonishment,^H8047 and a hissing,^H8322 without inhabitant.^H3427

and say^H559 unto it, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H136 Behold, I am against thee, O mount^H2022 Seir,^H8165 and I will stretch out^H5186 my hand^H3027 against thee, and I will make^H5414 thee a desolation^H8077 and an astonishment.^H8077

therefore prophesy,^H5012 and say,^H559 Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Because, even because they have made you desolate,^H8074 and swallowed you up^H7602 on every side,^H5439 that ye might be a possession^H4181 unto the residue^H7611 of the nations,^H1471 and ye are taken up^H5927 in the lips^H8193 of talkers,^H3956 and the evil report^H1681 of the people;^H5971

For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn^H6437 unto you, and ye shall be tilled^H5647 and sown;^H2232

Egypt^H4714 shall be a desolation,^H8077 and Edom^H123 shall be a desolate^H8077 wilderness,^H4057 for the violence^H2555 done to the children^H1121 of Judah,^H3063 because they have shed^H8210 innocent^H5355 blood^H1818 in their land.^H776

And the house^H1004 of Jacob^H3290 shall be a fire,^H784 and the house^H1004 of Joseph^H3130 a flame,^H3852 and the house^H1004 of Esau^H6215 for stubble,^H7179 and they shall burn^H1814 among them, and devour^H398 them; and there shall not be any remaining^H8300 to the house^H1004 of Esau;^H6215 for Jehovah^H3068 hath spoken^H1696 it.
