And if any one^H5315 sin,^H2398 in that he heareth^H8085 the voice^H6963 of adjuration,^H423 he being a witness,^H5707 whether^H176 he hath seen^H7200 or known,^H3045 if he do not utter^H5046 [it], then he shall bear^H5375 his iniquity.^H5771

And the men^H376 of Israel^H3478 were distressed^H5065 that day;^H3117 for Saul^H7586 had adjured^H422 the people,^H5971 saying,^H559 Cursed^H779 be the man^H376 that eateth^H398 any food^H3899 until it be evening,^H6153 and I be avenged^H5358 on mine enemies.^H341 So none of the people^H5971 tasted^H2938 food.^H3899

Then answered^H6030 one^H376 of the people,^H5971 and said,^H559 Thy father^H1 straitly^H7650 charged^H7650 the people^H5971 with an oath,^H7650 saying,^H559 Cursed^H779 be the man^H376 that eateth^H398 food^H3899 this day.^H3117 And the people^H5971 were faint.^H5774

And the king^H4428 said^H559 to him, How many times^H6471 shall I adjure^H7650 thee that thou speak^H1696 unto me nothing but the truth^H571 in the name^H8034 of Jehovah?^H3068

They also that seek^H1245 after my life^H5315 lay snares^H5367 [for me]; And they that seek^H1875 my hurt^H7451 speak^H1696 mischievous things,^H1942 And meditate^H1897 deceits^H4820 all the day^H3117 long.

For unto us a child^H3206 is born,^H3205 unto us a son^H1121 is given;^H5414 and the government^H4951 shall be upon his shoulder:^H7926 and his name^H8034 shall be called^H7121 Wonderful,^H6382 Counsellor,^H3289 Mighty^H1368 God,^H410 Everlasting^H5703 Father,^H1 Prince^H8269 of Peace.^H7965

Shadrach,^H7715 Meshach,^H4336 and Abed-nego^H5665 answered^H6032 and said^H560 to the king,^H4430 O Nebuchadnezzar,^H5020 we^H586 have no^H3809 need^H2818 to answer^H8421 thee in^H5922 this^H1836 matter.^H6600

But^G1161 Jesus^G2424 held his peace.^G4623 And^G2532 the high priest^G749 said^G2036 unto him,^G846 I adjure^G1844 thee^G4571 by^G2596 the^G2316 living^G2198 God,^G2316 that^G2443 thou tell^G2036 us^G2254 whether^G1487 thou^G4771 art^G1488 the Christ,^G5547 the Son^G5207 of God.^G2316

And^G2532 he gave him^G846 no answer,^G611 not^G3756 even^G3761 to one^G1520 word:^G4487 insomuch that^G5620 the governor^G2232 marvelled^G2296 greatly.^G3029

He trusteth^G3982 on God;^G2316 let him deliver^G4506 him^G846 now,^G3568 if^G1487 he desireth him:^G846 for^G1063 he said,^G3754 I am^G1510 the Son^G5207 of God.^G2316

But^G1161 he held his peace,^G4623 and^G2532 answered^G611 nothing.^G3762 Again^G3825 the high priest^G749 asked^G1905 him,^G846 and^G2532 saith^G3004 unto him,^G846 Art^G1488 thou^G4771 the Christ,^G5547 the Son^G5207 of the Blessed?^G2128

And^G2504 I have seen,^G3708 and^G2532 have borne witness^G3140 that^G3754 this^G3778 is^G2076 the Son^G5207 of God.^G2316

For^G1063 God^G2316 so^G3779 loved^G25 the world,^G2889 that^G5620 he gave^G1325 his^G846 only begotten^G3439 Son,^G5207 that^G2443 whosoever^G3956 believeth^G4100 on^G1519 him^G846 should^G622 not^G3361 perish,^G622 but^G235 have^G2192 eternal^G166 life.^G2222

And^G2532 we^G2249 have believed^G4100 and^G2532 know^G1097 that^G3754 thou^G4771 art^G1488 the Holy^G5547 One^G5207 of^{G2316 G2198} God.^G2316

The Jews^G2453 therefore^G3767 came^G2944 round about^G2944 him,^G846 and^G2532 said^G3004 unto him,^G846 How^G4219 long^G2193 dost thou hold^G142 us^G2257 in suspense?^G142 If^G1487 thou^G4771 art^G1488 the Christ,^G5547 tell^G2036 us^G2254 plainly.^G5590

say^G3004 ye^G5210 of^G3004 him, whom^G3739 the Father^G3962 sanctified^G37 and^G2532 sent^G649 into^G1519 the world,^G2889 Thou blasphemest;^G987 because^G3754 I said,^G2036 I am^G1510 [the] Son^G5207 of God?^G3754

The Jews^G2453 answered^G611 him,^G846 We^G2249 have^G2192 a law,^G3551 and^G2532 by^G2596 that^G2257 law^G3551 he ought^G3784 to die,^G599 because^G3754 he made^G4160 himself^G1438 the Son^G5207 of God.^G2316

but^G1161 these^G5023 are written,^G1125 that^G2443 ye may believe^G4100 that^G3754 Jesus^G2424 is^G2076 the Christ,^G5547 the Son^G5207 of God;^G2316 and^G2532 that^G2443 believing^G4100 ye may have^G2192 life^G2222 in^G1722 his^G846 name.^G3686

who,^G3739 when he was reviled,^G3058 reviled^G486 not^G3756 again;^G486 when he suffered^G3958 threatened^G546 not;^G3756 but^G1161 committed^G3860 [himself] to him that judgeth^G2919 righteously:^G1346
