[ A Psalm of David. Maschil.] Blessed^H835 is he whose transgression^H6588 is forgiven,^H5375 Whose sin^H2401 is covered.^H3680

Comfort^H5162 ye, comfort^H5162 ye my people,^H5971 saith^H559 your God.^H430

But this is the covenant^H1285 that I will make^H3772 with the house^H1004 of Israel^H3478 after^H310 those days,^H3117 saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 I will put^H5414 my law^H8451 in their inward parts,^H7130 and in their heart^H3820 will I write^H3789 it; and I will be their God,^H430 and they shall be my people:^H5971

And when^G1161 Jesus^G2424 heard^G191 it, he marvelled,^G2296 and^G2532 said^G2036 to them that followed,^G190 Verily^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 I have^G2147 not^G3761 found^G2147 so great^G5118 faith,^G4102 no, not^G3761 in^G1722 Israel.^G2474

But^G1161 that^G2443 ye may know^G1492 that^G3754 the Son^G5207 of man^G444 hath^G2192 authority^G1849 on^G1909 earth^G1093 to forgive^G863 sins^G266 (then^G5119 saith he^G3004 to the sick of the palsy),^G3885 Arise,^G1453 and take up^G142 thy^G4675 bed,^G2825 and^G2532 go^G5217 up unto^G1519 thy^G4675 house.^G3624

And^G1161 at even,^G3798 when^G3753 the sun^G2246 did^G1096 set,^G1416 they brought^G5342 unto^G4314 him^G846 all^G3956 that were^G2192 sick,^G2560 and^G2532 them^G3588 that were possessed with demons.^G1139

And^G1161 he said^G2036 unto her,^G846 Daughter,^G2364 thy^G4675 faith^G4102 hath made^G4982 thee^G4571 whole;^G4982 go^G5217 in^G1519 peace,^G1515 and^G2532 be^G2468 whole^G5199 of^G575 thy^G4675 plague.^G3148

Wherefore^G5484 I say^G3004 unto thee,^G4671 Her^G846 sins,^G266 which^G3588 are many,^G4183 are forgiven;^G863 for^G3754 she loved^G25 much:^G4183 but^G1161 to whom^G3739 little^G3641 is forgiven,^G863 [the same] loveth^G25 little.^G3641

These things^G5023 have I spoken^G2980 unto you,^G5213 that^G2443 in^G1722 me^G1698 ye may have^G2192 peace.^G1515 In^G1722 the world^G2889 ye have^G2192 tribulation:^G2347 but^G235 be of good cheer;^G2293 I^G1473 have overcome^G3528 the world.^G2889

The same^G3778 heard^G191 Paul^G3972 speaking,^G2980 who,^G3739 fastening eyes^G816 upon him,^G846 and^G2532 seeing^G1492 that^G3754 he had^G2192 faith^G4102 to be made whole,^G4982

Even as^G2509 David^G1138 also^G2532 pronounceth^G3004 blessing^G3108 upon the man,^G444 unto whom^G3739 God^G2316 reckoneth^G3049 righteousness^G1343 apart^G5565 from works,^G2041

giving thanks^G2168 unto the Father,^G3962 who made^G2427 us^G2248 meet^G2427 to^G1519 be partakers^G3310 of the inheritance^G2819 of the saints^G40 in^G1722 light;^G5457
