And Moses^H4872 chose^H977 able^H2428 men^H582 out of all Israel,^H3478 and made^H5414 them heads^H7218 over the people,^H5971 rulers^H8269 of thousands,^H505 rulers^H8269 of hundreds,^H3967 rulers^H8269 of fifties,^H2572 and rulers^H8269 of tens.^H6235

These are they that were numbered,^H6485 whom Moses^H4872 and Aaron^H175 numbered,^H6485 and the princes^H5387 of Israel,^H3478 being twelve^H6240 men:^H376 they were each^H376 one^H259 for his fathers'^H1 house.^H1004

And Moses^H4872 and Aaron^H175 and the princes^H5387 of the congregation^H5712 numbered^H6485 the sons^H1121 of the Kohathites^H6956 by their families,^H4940 and by their fathers'^H1 houses,^H1004

And the princes^H5387 offered^H7126 for the dedication^H2598 of the altar^H4196 in the day^H3117 that it was anointed,^H4886 even the princes^H5387 offered^H7126 their oblation^H7133 before^H6440 the altar.^H4196

Send^H7971 thou men,^H582 that they may spy^H8446 out the land^H776 of Canaan,^H3667 which I give^H5414 unto the children^H1121 of Israel:^H3478 of every^H376 tribe^H4294 of their fathers^H1 shall ye send^H7971 a man,^H259 every one^H259 a prince^H5387 among them.

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 Take^H3947 all the chiefs^H7218 of the people,^H5971 and hang them up^H3363 unto Jehovah^H3068 before^H5048 the sun,^H8121 that the fierce^H2740 anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 may turn away^H7725 from Israel.^H3478

And ye shall take^H3947 one^H259 prince^H5387 of every tribe,^H4294 to divide^H5157 the land^H776 for inheritance.^H5157

and with him ten^H6235 princes,^H5387 one prince^H5387 of a fathers'^H1 house^H1004 for each^H259 of the tribes^H4294 of Israel;^H3478 and they were every one^H376 of them head^H7218 of their fathers'^H1 houses^H1004 among the thousands^H505 of Israel.^H3478
