and the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 said^H559 unto them, Would^H4310 that we had died^H4191 by the hand^H3027 of Jehovah^H3068 in the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 when we sat^H3427 by the^H1320 flesh-pots,^H5518 when we did eat^H398 bread^H3899 to the full;^H7648 for ye have brought us forth^H3318 into this wilderness,^H4057 to kill^H4191 this whole assembly^H6951 with hunger.^H7458

And it came to pass at even,^H6153 that the quails^H7958 came up,^H5927 and covered^H3680 the camp:^H4264 and in the morning^H1242 the dew^H2919 lay^H7902 round about^H5439 the camp.^H4264

And wherefore doth Jehovah^H3068 bring^H935 us unto this land,^H776 to fall^H5307 by the sword?^H2719 Our wives^H802 and our little ones^H2945 will be a prey:^H957 were it not better^H2896 for us to return^H7725 into Egypt?^H4714

is it a small thing^H4592 that^H3588 thou hast brought us up^H5927 out of a land^H776 flowing^H2100 with milk^H2461 and honey,^H1706 to kill^H4191 us in the wilderness,^H4057 but thou must needs make^H8323 thyself also^H8323 a prince^H8323 over us?

Now therefore the sword^H2719 shall never^H5704 depart^H5493 from thy house,^H1004 because^H6118 thou hast despised^H959 me, and hast taken^H3947 the wife^H802 of Uriah^H223 the Hittite^H2850 to be thy wife.^H802

And he gave^H5414 them their request,^H7596 But sent^H7971 leanness^H7332 into their soul.^H5315

A son^H1121 honoreth^H3513 his father,^H1 and a servant^H5650 his master:^H113 if then I am a father,^H1 where is mine honor?^H3519 and if I am a master,^H113 where is my fear?^H4172 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts^H6635 unto you, O priests,^H3548 that despise^H959 my name.^H8034 And ye say,^H559 Wherein have we despised^H959 thy name?^H8034

Therefore^G5105 he^G114 that rejecteth,^G114 rejecteth^G114 not^G3756 man,^G444 but^G235 God,^G2316 who^G3588 giveth^G1325 his^G846 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 unto^G1519 you.^G2248
