A Prayer of David. Hear^H8085 the right,^H6664 O Jehovah,^H3068 attend^H7181 unto my cry;^H7440 Give ear^H238 unto my prayer,^H8605 that goeth not^H3808 out of feigned^H4820 lips.^H8193

Jehovah^H3068 is far^H7350 from the wicked;^H7563 But he heareth^H8085 the prayer^H8605 of the righteous.^H6662

He that turneth away^H5493 his ear^H241 from hearing^H8085 the law,^H8451 Even his prayer^H8605 is an abomination.^H8441

O my dove,^H3123 that art in the clefts^H2288 of the rock,^H5553 In the covert^H5643 of the steep place,^H4095 Let me see^H7200 thy countenance,^H4758 Let me hear^H8085 thy voice;^H6963 For sweet^H6156 is thy voice,^H6963 and thy countenance^H4758 is comely.^H5000

He that killeth^H7819 an ox^H7794 is as he that slayeth^H5221 a man;^H376 he that sacrificeth^H2076 a lamb,^H7716 as he that breaketh^H6202 a dog's^H3611 neck;^H6202 he that offereth^H5927 an oblation,^H4503 as he that offereth swine's^H2386 blood;^H1818 he that burneth^H2142 frankincense,^H3828 as he that blesseth^H1288 an idol.^H205 Yea, they have chosen^H977 their own ways,^H1870 and their soul^H5315 delighteth^H2654 in their abominations:^H8251

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel:^H3478 Add^H5595 your burnt-offerings^H5930 unto your sacrifices,^H2077 and eat^H398 ye flesh.^H1320

I hate,^H8130 I despise^H3988 your feasts,^H2282 and I will take no delight^H7306 in your solemn assemblies.^H6116

Wherewith shall I come before^H6923 Jehovah,^H3068 and bow^H3721 myself before the high^H4791 God?^H430 shall I come before^H6923 him with burnt-offerings,^H5930 with calves^H5695 a year^H8141 old?^H1121

God^G2316 is a Spirit:^G4151 and^G2532 they that worship^G4352 him^G846 must^G1163 worship^G4352 in^G1722 spirit^G4151 and^G2532 truth.^G225
