For vexation^H3708 killeth^H2026 the foolish man,^H191 And jealousy^H7068 slayeth^H4191 the silly one.^H6601

My son,^H1121 forget^H7911 not my law;^H8451 But let thy heart^H3820 keep^H5341 my commandments:^H4687

He that refuseth^H6544 correction^H4148 despiseth^H3988 his own soul;^H5315 But he that hearkeneth^H8085 to reproof^H8433 getteth^H7069 understanding.^H3820

The man^H120 that wandereth^H8582 out of the way^H1870 of understanding^H7919 Shall rest^H5117 in the assembly^H6951 of the dead.^H7496

Thorns^H6791 [and] snares^H6341 are in the way^H1870 of the perverse:^H6141 He that keepeth^H8104 his soul^H5315 shall be far^H7368 from them.

Whoso keepeth^H8104 the commandment^H4687 shall know^H3045 no evil^H7451 thing;^H1697 and a wise man's^H2450 heart^H3820 discerneth^H3045 time^H6256 and judgment:^H4941

but this thing^H1697 I commanded^H6680 them, saying,^H559 Hearken^H8085 unto my voice,^H6963 and I will be your God,^H430 and ye shall be my people;^H5971 and walk^H1980 ye in all the way^H1870 that I command^H6680 you, that it may be well^H3190 with you.

For^G1063 what^G5101 shall^G5623 a man^G444 be profited,^G5623 if^G1437 he shall gain^G2770 the^G2889 whole^G3650 world,^G2889 and^G1161 forfeit^G2210 his^G846 life?^G5590 or^G2228 what^G5101 shall^G1325 a man^G444 give^G1325 in exchange^G465 for^G5590 his^G846 life?^G5590

But^G1161 he^G846 said,^G2036 Yea rather,^G3304 blessed^G3107 are they that hear^G191 the word^G3056 of God,^G2316 and^G2532 keep^G5442 it.^G846

He that^G3588 hath^G2192 my^G3450 commandments,^G1785 and^G2532 keepeth^G5083 them,^G846 he^G1565 it is^G2076 that^G3588 loveth^G25 me:^G3165 and^G1161 he that^G3588 loveth^G25 me^G3165 shall be loved^G25 of^G5259 my^G3450 Father,^G3962 and^G2532 I^G1473 will love^G25 him,^G846 and^G2532 will manifest^G1718 myself^G1683 unto him.^G846

Circumcision^G4061 is^G2076 nothing,^G3762 and^G2532 uncircumcision^G203 is^G2076 nothing;^G3762 but^G235 the keeping^G5084 of the commandments^G1785 of God.^G2316

and^G2532 whatsoever^{G3739 G1437} we ask^G154 we receive^G2983 of^G3844 him,^G846 because^G3754 we keep^G5083 his^G846 commandments^G1785 and^G2532 do^G4160 the things that are pleasing^G701 in^G1799 his^G846 sight.^G1799

Blessed^G3107 are they^G3588 that wash^G4160 their^G846 robes,^G1785 that^G2443 they^G846 may have^G2071 the right^G1849 [to come] to^G1909 the tree^G3586 of life,^G2222 and^G2532 may enter in^G1525 by the gates^G4440 into^G1519 the city.^G4172
