And Joseph^H3130 said^H559 unto his brethren,^H251 Come near^H5066 to me, I pray you. And they came near.^H5066 And he said,^H559 I am Joseph^H3130 your brother,^H251 whom ye sold^H4376 into Egypt.^H4714

And Absalom^H53 and all the men^H376 of Israel^H3478 said,^H559 The counsel^H6098 of Hushai^H2365 the Archite^H757 is better^H2896 than the counsel^H6098 of Ahithophel.^H302 For Jehovah^H3068 had ordained^H6680 to defeat^H6565 the good^H2896 counsel^H6098 of Ahithophel,^H302 to the intent^H5668 that Jehovah^H3068 might bring^H935 evil^H7451 upon Absalom.^H53

But he is in one^H259 [mind], and who can turn^H7725 him? And what his soul^H5315 desireth,^H183 even that he doeth.^H6213

Jehovah^H3068 bringeth^H6331 the counsel^H6098 of the nations^H1471 to nought;^H6331 He maketh^H5106 the thoughts^H4284 of the peoples^H5971 to be of no effect.^H5106

A good^H2896 man shall obtain^H6329 favor^H7522 of Jehovah;^H3068 But a man^H376 of wicked devices^H4209 will he condemn.^H7561

A man's^H120 heart^H3820 deviseth^H2803 his way;^H1870 But Jehovah^H3068 directeth^H3559 his steps.^H6806

There is no wisdom^H2451 nor understanding^H8394 Nor counsel^H6098 against Jehovah.^H3068

Let us go up^H5927 against Judah,^H3063 and vex^H6973 it, and let us make a breach^H1234 therein for us, and set^H4427 up a king^H4428 in the midst^H8432 of it, even the son^H1121 of Tabeel;^H2870

This is the purpose^H6098 that is purposed^H3289 upon the whole earth;^H776 and this is the hand^H3027 that is stretched out^H5186 upon all the nations.^H1471

and that which cometh^H5927 into your mind^H7307 shall not be at all, in that ye say,^H559 We will be^H1961 as the nations,^H1471 as the families^H4940 of the countries,^H776 to serve^H8334 wood^H6086 and stone.^H68

In time of security^H7962 shall he come^H935 even upon the fattest places^H4924 of the province;^H4082 and he shall do^H6213 that which his fathers^H1 have not done,^H6213 nor his fathers'^H1 fathers;^H1 he shall scatter^H967 among them prey,^H961 and spoil,^H7998 and substance:^H7399 yea, he shall devise^H2803 his devices^H4284 against the strongholds,^H4013 even for a time.^H6256

saying,^G3004 Sir,^G2962 we remember^G3415 that^G3754 that^G1565 deceiver^G4108 said^G2036 while he was^G2198 yet^G2089 alive,^G2198 After^G3326 three^G5140 days^G2250 I rise again.^G1453

And^G2532 now^G3568 I say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 Refrain^G868 from^G575 these^G5130 men,^G444 and^G2532 let^G1439 them^G846 alone:^G1439 for^G3754 if^G1437 this^G3778 counsel^G1012 or^G2228 this^G5124 work^G2041 be^G5600 of^G1537 men,^G444 it will be overthrown:^G2647

Wherein^{G3739 G1722} God,^G2316 being minded^G1014 to show^G1925 more abundantly^G4054 unto the heirs^G2818 of the promise^G1860 the immutability^G276 of^G1012 his^G846 counsel,^G1012 interposed^G3315 with an oath;^G3727

For^G1063 there are^G3921 certain^G5100 men^G444 crept in privily,^G3921 [even] they who were^G4270 of old^G3819 written^G4270 of beforehand unto^G1519 this^G5124 condemnation,^G2917 ungodly men,^G765 turning^G3346 the grace^G5485 of^G2316 our^G2257 God^G2316 into^G1519 lasciviousness,^G766 and^G2532 denying^G720 our^G2316 only^G3441 Master^{G1203 G2316} and^{G2532 G2257} Lord,^G1203 Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547
