And it came to pass, when God^H430 destroyed^H7843 the cities^H5892 of the Plain,^H3603 that God^H430 remembered^H2142 Abraham,^H85 and sent^H7971 Lot^H3876 out of the midst^H8432 of the overthrow,^H2018 when he overthrew^H2015 the cities^H5892 in which^H2004 Lot^H3876 dwelt.^H3427

He shall lean^H8172 upon his house,^H1004 but it shall not stand:^H5975 He shall hold^H2388 fast thereby, but it shall not endure.^H6965

For ye say,^H559 Where is the house^H1004 of the prince?^H5081 And where is the tent^H4908 wherein the wicked^H7563 dwelt?^H4908

I have seen^H7200 the wicked^H7563 in great power,^H6184 And spreading^H6168 himself like a green^H7488 tree^H249 in its native soil.

Whoso is wise^H2450 will give heed^H8104 to these things; And they will consider^H995 the lovingkindnesses^H2617 of Jehovah.^H3068

Righteousness^H6666 guardeth^H5341 him that is upright^H8537 in the way;^H1870 But wickedness^H7564 overthroweth^H5557 the sinner.^H2403

The wicked^H7563 is thrust down^H1760 in his evil-doing;^H7451 But the righteous^H6662 hath a refuge^H2620 in his death.^H4194

I have overthrown^H2015 [cities] among you, as when God^H430 overthrew^H4114 Sodom^H5467 and Gomorrah,^H6017 and ye were as a brand^H181 plucked out^H5337 of the burning:^H8316 yet have ye not returned^H7725 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Howbeit^G235 with^G1722 most^G4119 of them^G846 God^G2316 was^G2106 not^G3756 well pleased:^G2106 for^G1063 they were overthrown^G2693 in^G1722 the wilderness.^G2048

by^G1223 which^G3739 means the world^G2889 that then was,^G5119 being overflowed^G2626 with water,^G5204 perished:^G622
