Moreover, my father,^H1 see,^H7200 yea, see^H7200 the skirt^H3671 of thy robe^H4598 in my hand;^H3027 for in that I cut off^H3772 the skirt^H3671 of thy robe,^H4598 and killed^H2026 thee not, know^H3045 thou and see^H7200 that there is neither evil^H7451 nor transgression^H6588 in my hand,^H3027 and I have not sinned^H2398 against thee, though thou huntest^H6658 after my life^H5315 to take^H3947 it.

Was it not told^H5046 my lord^H113 what I did^H6213 when Jezebel^H348 slew^H2026 the prophets^H5030 of Jehovah,^H3068 how I hid^H2244 a hundred^H3967 men^H376 of Jehovah's^H3068 prophets^H5030 by fifty^H2572 in a cave,^H4631 and fed^H3557 them with bread^H3899 and water?^H4325

So David,^H1732 and the elders^H2205 of Israel,^H3478 and the captains^H8269 over thousands,^H505 went^H1980 to bring up^H5927 the ark^H727 of the covenant^H1285 of Jehovah^H3068 out of the house^H1004 of Obed-edom^H5654 with joy.^H8057

The Jews^H3064 had light^H219 and gladness,^H8057 and joy^H8342 and honor.^H3366

When it goeth well^H2898 with the righteous,^H6662 the city^H7151 rejoiceth;^H5970 And when the wicked^H7563 perish,^H6 there is shouting.^H7440

When the righteous^H6662 are increased,^H7235 the people^H5971 rejoice;^H8055 But when a wicked^H7563 man beareth rule,^H4910 the people^H5971 sigh.^H584
